Within the re-up comes massive changes. Out goes Samoa Joe, Brian "Spanky" Kendrick, CM Punk, Kurt Angle, Joey Styles, and others. Essentially, WCWA has broken itself away from the stale "national" mold completely, opting to create itself fresh. Ironically, the biggest roster move comes from an independent contractor who contacted WCWA. After hearing the leak of a new breed, former WWE champion Rob Van Dam contacted WCWA management in hopes that this re-up could revitalize him, both personally and professionally. Van Dam, a professor of the "straight edge" lifestyle, believes that WCWA could be just the outlet he needs nationally. We within WCWA welcome Rob Van Dam to the WCWA family with open arms and no prejustice.
