Welcome to what I hope will be one of the best "fantasy booking" post you've ever read! (Am I setting myself up for failure giving you expectations? Gotta read to find out.) This is my first venture in public fantasy booking, kinda excited to get some feedback. In thinking of my approach, I've decided I am going to focus on storylines, with only minor notes regarding the in-ring action.
For this particular story arc, I've created the Professional League of Wrestling... or PLoW. (Hehe... plow...) The year is 1993; Vince McMahon has decided to let me run a wrestling company underneath the WWF umbrella, but very unlike the WWF at the time. He wants more in-ring action and adult-themed storylines, basically testing the waters for what would be Attitude. I've been given the chance to draft 14 superstars from the WWF and hire 3 from the indies of the era. No need for full rosters yet, wrestlers will appear when it's time for them to appear. I will book 8 weeks of tv before the big event to blow off my major feuds.
Episode 1 of 8
Jim Ross and Jim Cornette welcome us to the arena, and they will be calling the action. JR is excited for our main event, a dream match of his: Mr Perfect vs Bob Backlund. Cornette agrees with JR's sentiment but is equally excited for our first contest. He lets us know that President Jack Tunney requested this match specifically to show fans what PLW is gonna be all about. And with that, JR sends us to the ring for Shawn Michaels vs one half of High Energy, The Rocket Owen Hart!
Shawn Michaels def Owen Hart in 14 minutes. (Shawn Michaels has never been more full of himself. Before the match, he cannot pull himself away from his mirror. When the two go to lock up, Shawn dips out of the ring to continue his self-admiration. Owen finally has enough and pounces on Shawn, sending him into the ring after a flurry of punches. After a hard fought back and forth contest, Shawn catches Owen in a crucifix pin for the victory!)
JR interviews Shawn at ringside after the match. According to HBK, Tunney and all the other suits have been hounding him day and night to join PLW. He claims he is here to be the star that everyone knows he is. He is the wrestler of the 90s, and thus, wherever he hangs his hat will be the wrestling organization of the 90s.
We get an exciting video hyping the debut of a new star: the Lightning Kid. Various clips of him performing martial arts and high-flying maneuvers. "Lightning will strike soon..."
Big Bossman def a jobber in 6 minutes. (Pretty straight-forward squash, finished off with the Bossman Slam. Old school promo in a box in the corner of the screen during his match... Big Bossman promises to rededicate himself and bring his brand of law and order to PLW. He warns all the rulebreakers and cheap shot artists to stay in line and respect his law.)
The Natural Disasters in-ring interview. A highlight reel of the Disasters is shown, culminating in their tag title victory. The huge team proclaim a state of emergency in PLW! Earthquake says the ground is starting to rumble, the seizmograph is starting to scratch... massive earthquakes are coming for everyone in PLW. Then, Typhoon says, when the devastation is at its worst, a monstrous typhoon will wipe away all that's left. They tell everyone to beware, especially those no good street punks, the Nasty Boys.
Before the main event, JR and Cornette speculate about the Nasty Boys/Natural Disasters situation. Cornette points out that the two teams will be on opposite sides of an 8 man tag match in next week's main event! JR also announces we will see the PLW debuts of Razor Ramon & Crush next week.
-Main Event- Mr Perfect def Bob Backlund in 26 minutes. (Technical showcase that kept the audience engaged despite several restholds in the middle. Toward the end, Perfect bumped all over the place for the former world champion, but he managed to catch Backlund with the Perfect Plex. Backlund shook Perfect's hand after the match.)

Please leave feedback- positive, negative, whatever. If anyone actually reads this, I'll follow up with episode 2 in a couple days. Lookin forward to buildin' a fun little supercard for you to check out.
