Interesting back story. I'm sure it'd take an absurd amount of money to buy out the WWE, in the hundreds of billions, but let's run with it.
Opening tag match was pretty good. I like that you've got play by play commentary and actual play by play. It's something not many people can really master, the play by play along with the bantering needed to make it more than mundane move calling, but not overboard. You've hit it here.
So the whole show is lethal lottery.. I see.
Santino getting KO'd early was a pretty good twist. Makes Rey into an underdog, and realisticly, he gets his ass kicked. Great booking there.
Interesting teams with Val/Archer & Christian/D-Von. some of these teams seem legitimately random. A legitimately random lethal lottery is something I toyed with, but couldn't figure out a way to make it work.
AJ getting the win over Magnus is for the best. Magnus is pretty awful. Post match AJ really establishes himself. hopefully no feud with Henry
A Hall vs. Punk feud could be a lot of fun. Similar to the Raven/Punk drug feud of 05.
Neither Masters or Foley advancing is an interesting ruling. With their partners getting eliminated, I expected them to both advance.
Red/Benjamin vs. Ryder/Kidd was really good. Probably my favorite match of the show thus far.
Brian Knobbs & Caylen Croft.. vs. Shad.. and Triple H? Yeah, Knobbs & Caylen don't stand a chance..
And in just a few seconds, HHH buries his opponents..
Somehow, I figure this Finlay/Taker match will go the same way..
And a pretty destructive win for the Fintakers. Unless of course this was a legitimately random draw, I would have liked to see the squashes/main eventers staggered more.
Three really quick matches in a row. With an eleven match card, I can understand why, but I can't say I like them being boom boom boom like that, pardon the pun win Kingston being the third..
I'm very glad Hernandez & Recks got the win over Boretista. I'd like to see Boretista get a big push, though. A push off the Grand Canyon would be great!
With the young fresh talents that were in this mini tournament, I can't say I like Undertaker winning the whole thing. More often than not, I find myself just wishing he'd go away.
Overall, good writing. On the surface, the booking certainly appeared random with a fixed outcome of HHH & Taker as the final two, what with them squashing their opponents with ease. I look forward to seeing more, though
