WCWA Revolution #7: A Stairway to Heaven
Arco Arena
Sacramento, California
March 24th 2006
As the road to Sweet Dreams begins, there's still unfinished business from Dark Desires, most noticeably the fact that the International champion, Tommy End, still has yet to touch his championship. This week on Revolution, we close one book once and for all to open another.
MAIN EVENT
WCWA International title Match
Ladder Match
Chuck Taylor
vs.
WCWA International Champion Tommy End
Tommy End won the International championship at Dark Desires. Plain and simple. He pinned Chuck Taylor and won the title cleanly. Unfortunately, Taylor wasn't ready to accept defeat and walked out of Dark Desires taking the championship with him. On Revolution, if he wants to leave with the championship, he'll have to win it back. The only way to win the match will be to climb a ladder in the center of the ring and to retrieve the championship belt high above the ring. Will Chuck Taylor be able to climb the ladder of success once more or will Tommy End break through the glass ceiling and prove himself as a marquee player in WCWA? Find out only on Revolution
One on One match
"Double C" Claudio Castagnoli
vs.
Michael "The Bomber" Facade
Undefeated. It's the best word to describe Claudio Castagnoli. And at Sweet Dreams, he's already in line to receive a shot at the WCWA World Heavyweight championship. However on Revolution, Michael "The Bomber" Facade has the opportunity of a lifetime as he gets a shot at Castagnoli. Clearly, if Facade is able to best Castagnoli, and give him his first loss, Castagnoli will likely be bumped out of the championship match and perhaps Facade bumped in. It's an all or nothing match for both men, both looking to prove themselves as dominant in WCWA.
WCWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship Match
Pin Falls Count Anywhere in California
WCWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion "The Tremendous One" Emil Sitoci
vs.
"Too Hardcore for a Gimmick" JC Bailey
Emil Sitoci is Emil Sitoci's biggest fan. Emil Sitoci thinks very highly of Emil Sitoci and thinks Emil Sitoci is the greatest thing since sliced bread. And this line of thinking very well have got him in trouble. On Revolution, Emil Sitoci will be defending the WCWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship against the winner of the second King of the Death Matches, former WCWA Death Match champion, and finalist in the Menage Et Trois tournament, "Too Hardcore for a Gimmick" JC Bailey. Furthermore, the stakes are high and on JC's side, as it will be a pin falls count anywhere in California match. Not just the ring, not just the building, anywhere in the state. Sitoci may be kissing his championship goodbye on Revolution
WCWA World Television Championship Match
WCWA World Television Champion Beef Wellington
vs.
One Half of the WCWA World Tag Team Champions "The Man That Gravity Forgot" Pac
There ain't no rest for the wicked.. And Beef Wellington may be wicked. Immediately following his brutal No Rope Barbed Wire Death Match on Synthetic with Jimmy Jacobs to recapture the WCWA World Television Championship, he has to defend it against a very serious opponent, one half of the Aerial Assault, the WCWA World Tag Team Champions, "The Man That Gravity Forgot" Pac. Pac has proven he is more than capable of holding his own inside the squared circle with his high risk, death defying moves and his speed based offense. Beef Wellington cannot be at one hundred percent following the brutal no rope barbed wire match, so it could be a very short reign for the master of the ass punch.
One on One Match
One Half of the WCWA World Tag Team Champions Delirious
vs.
"The Notorious" Devon Moore
To call Delirious unorthodox would be like calling Hitler mildly racist. The man is certifiably insane, assuming he is in fact a man, since he just babbles like a lunatic more often than not. But you cannot argue with success. A near International championship run, an undefeated tag team with Pac that's led to World Tag Team championship gold.. and that's all in a mere couple of months. But Devon Moore looks to bring a stop to all this momentum. The mysterious "Notorious" Devon Moore first appeared in WCWA at the side of Mickie Knuckles, but has apparently been dropped by "The Walking Episode of COPS" as quickly as he was picked up. Making his official debut in WCWA, Devon Moore looks to make an impact on Revolution.
Tag Team Match
The Age of the Fall (Zach Gowen & Jimmy Jacobs) (0)
vs.
The North Star Express (Darin Corbin & Ryan Cruz) (0)
Two teams look to get their first point for World Tag Team title contention as the first time pairing of Jimmy Jacobs' Age of the Fall, Jacobs himself and WCWA debuting "One Legged Wonder" Zach Gowen do battle with Joey Eastman Worldwide's North Star Express of Darin Corbin and Ryan Cruz. Corbin & Cruz have had a hard time getting off the blocks in WCWA, holding respectively the worst win-loss records in WCWA, both in singles and tag team matches, with four losses as a team and one draw, with zero wins. Jacobs and Gowen look to gain an easy first point, while The North Star Express look to finally get their first win as a team.
