Stevie Bear finally came out of hibernation!
I'll answer question #2 myself, though. Dasher Hatfield was a fan created gimmick. Yearly, CHIKARA had a Create-a-Wrestler competition, where a fan would assign the new gimmick to the man now known as Dasher. Previous winners were Moscow, the communist cow and Ultimo Breakfast. Both "funny" gimmicks, but had very little staying power. For the 2009 entrant, Dasher Hatfield was created.
