I really dig the opening montage. Good description, sets a nice tone to the show.
The setup of the stage sounds really good…one can tell that edgier occurrences will be happening on this show.
North American Heavyweight Championship match: Taz (c) vs. Steven Regal
What a way to kick of Mayhem! Really intense match up that showed what Taz is all about. Regal attempted to use dirty tactics, like those brass knuckles and having Davey Boy interfere, but he can’t get the victory. Taz definitely proved a huge point – no matter what is thrown at him he will prevail. Awesome way to kick off Mayhem.
Interesting in-ring promo from Taz/Test/RVD/Angle. I have to give your props for getting the four wrestlers respective speech down cold. I was particularly impressed with the way you wrote Angle’s text. Great job man!
Non-Roster Show Case: Shark Boy, Prince Iaukea, and Chris Hamrick vs. C.W. Anderson, Scotty Riggs, and Evan Karagias
Really faced paced for a six man tag team match. I can’t say I’m a huge fan of any wrestlers participating in this match with the exception of C.W. Anderson. I am actually hoping that C.W. Anderson makes his way onto the main roster; in my opinion, he’s worthy of wrestling on your main roster.
I actually enjoy The Big Show (unlike another fantasy booker) and I especially enjoy him in CWF. Can’t wait to see how his feud with the New Age Outlaws progresses.
Wow! Saturday’s Night Main Event! Another show for you to work on…hmm…
Loved the Vince promo…
Cruiserweight Title match: Justin Credible vs. Opponent of Chavo’s Choosing
I already love Justin Credible and it’s only his second match in CWF. His opponent is the man whom he posed as, Super Calo, and Credible defeats him via the That’s Incredible! Really solid cruiserweight championship match and I am more than thrilled that Credible retains. X-Pac enters the ring after the match and delivers the X-Factor! A feud between Credible and X-Pac could be something cool…
Big Show taking his anger out on the friend of the New Age Outlaws, X-Pac. Man he is really pissed!
Tag Team match: Mark Henry and D’Lo Brown vs. Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio Jr.
I really liked this match as it had a great pace and rhythm to it. Guerrero and Mysterio win the match by disqualification; it could see Mysterio/Guerrero become a successful tag team while D’Lo/Henry might not last long.
Awesome Daniels promo! Seems like he can be big in CWF!
Poor Credible…either he loses the weight or the title is stripped. Maybe he can use Christian’s method and borrow Angle’s chicken suit.
Haku vs. Taz! Can’t wait for that!
Non-Title match: ‘Hot Stuff’ Hernandez vs. Ken Shamrock
Shamrock kills Hernandez. Boy, tough debut for Hernandez!
Shamrock wants more incentive to join the Corporation…can’t blame him for that. Brawl erupts in the ring as Malenko, Test and Hakushi brawl with the Corporation. Malenko/Benoit, as we all know, can be something great.
The Main Event: Test, Hakushi, and Dean Malenko vs. Chris Benoit and Hostile Takeover
What a great match that defiantly delivered the excitement that a main event match should. A great way to leave the off with a bang! I could defiantly see Malenko/Benoit develop into a feud of the year candidate. Should be awesome to
Excellent show, Tennessee. Definitely did not disappoint! Here’s hoping that the next CWF show gets posted sometime soon!
