First and foremost, hello. I am new to these boards but I've lurked in the OtherArena Fantasy Booking section and have read many good pieces of work.
Here, I have written a review for my favorite fantasy booker - Scorpion's Den. Here's one to you, Scorp!
After a near three-year hiatus, you have returned to writing your series and glad you did so. Your WWF series is top-notch work.
Coming off the heels from WWF Judgment Day 2000 - we are live at the sold-out Conseco Fieldhouse from Indianapolis, Indiana for another hot edition of RAW is WAR!
Liked how you added the opening intro. You're making this realistic as best as you can. I like it.
Match 1
WWF Tag Team Championship match
Acolytes (c) vs Kaientai
A fun, exciting opener pitting the tag team champions against the three members of Kaientai. Not a bad way to kick off the show. Acolytes showed off their dominance and Taijiri gets taken out by Bradshaw! Not a good start for the new Lightheavyweight champion. Nice to see Essa and Lita getting some measure of revenge on Kaientai. Lita hits her moonsault and Taijiri is done!

In Ring Segment: HBK, Jericho, Stone Cold and The Rock
Got a kick out of this segment. HBK shows us why he's the impartial commissioner and announces tonight's matches.
Jericho hits the ring and wants a rematch with The Rock. He definitely works best as a heel and you wrote him completely IN-character. Loved every minute of his rant.
Then, Stone Cold hits the ring! And boy does it get intense. The rattlesnake unloads on Y2J and wants his title shot.
Finally, the WWF champion, The Rock, shows up and business picks up! Heh, he called Austin and Y2J - Rudy and Pooh. He really got under the skin of those two. Loved it.
Thus, sets up for tonight's main event! Stone Cold vs Chris Jericho with The Rock as the guest referee!
-
Albert Backstage
Nothing much here. Just Albert talking about Tazz. Albert is just Albert.
-
Office: HBK, Stephanie and Sycho Sid
Shawn lays the law down to the Billion Dollar Princess and Big Sid. Things sure aren't going well for Stephanie as she is set to defend her Women's title against Jackie.
-
Singles
Tazz vs Albert
A good match between these two. Albert being the powerhouse while Tazz pulls off some of his trademark suplexes. You wrote a nice match here. Tazz gets the win but not without Albert putting up a good showing.
-
Parking lot
DX arrives... and they show paranoia tonight after what happened the other night. Kane's coming to get ya!
-
As usual, you write great interaction between JR and the King. It does feel like I'm watching straight out of the Attitude Era!
-
Backstage: Hardcore Holly
Holly tells us he's going to kick Jarrett's ass and qualify for the KOTR. We'll see.
-
KOTR Qualifer/Guitarshot Rules Match
Short but decent match here. Holly guitarshots not just Jarrett... but Debra too!! Wow!
*inhales and exhales* Anyway, Holly showing us a more vicious side - if we haven't seen that already. Holly qualifies for the KOTR!
-
Locker Room: Kurt Angle
Kurt being his usual, confident self. he's already claiming to make Eddie tap out twice. Didn't know Kurt knew Spanish.
-
Intercontinental Championship - 2 out of 3 Falls match
Kurt Angle (c) vs Eddie Guerrero
Bar none. Best RAW match you've ever written. I'd say it was probably even better than the Kurt/Eddie match from WM XX. I was thrilled to see how you elaborated such detail in the holds and the execution of the holds.
Even with the X-Pac interference, it didn't take away much from this match. Too bad Eddie didn't win the IC belt. Remember, folks, you can't win a title on a count-out victory. Eddie was so close but Latino Heat celebrates like the winner he is.
I'd nominate this as a runner-up for one of the best televised fantasy booked match ever.
Whew, I could read this match over and over again without getting bored. I commend you, Scorp. WWE sure can't deliver many good, long PPV-quality matches on free TV these days.
Moving along.
-
Dressing Room: DX
Just DX trying to figure out who or what has been stalking them. We all know who's the predator hunting his prey, now don't we?
-
In-ring: Edge, Christian, Paul Bearer
After a grueling Hell in a Cell Match against The Undertaker, Edge runs down his own 'euology' over the Undertaker's 'death.' I liked this segment. Pretty eerie and a nice exchange between the brothers.
Paul Bearer calling back for the Undertaker... wow.
So, how long until 'Taker comes back? Is the Ministry lord truly gone for good?
-
Backstage: Jacqueline
Just Jackie saying she's going to kick Stephanie's ass. Funny stuff there at the end of the segment.
-
Singles Match
Chris Benoit vs D-X Member
Just making this short and sweet... We find out Benoit's opponent is Road Dogg! An okay match with Benoit kicking Road Dogg's ass. Damn, Dogg took ten German Suplexes! ;
D-X surrounds the ring and HHH ready to get at the Rapid Wolverine. Then... Out comes KANE!! D-X makes their exit out and have left the building! Some pretty cool stuff here.
-
Dressing Room: Stone Cold
LOL! Austin tosses Michael Cole out of his dressing room! Enough said.
-
Women's Championship Match
Stephanie McMahon (c) w/ Sycho Sid vs Jacqueline
Good women's match. I was surprised with Stephanie here. She pulled off some neat manuevers here. Guess this Stephanie has been learning from the ropes unlike the real one.
Nice to see Shane 'O Mac in there. I wonder where this will lead up? When's Tori coming back and who's going to beat Stephanie for her belt?
-
Main event
Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Chris Jericho
Guest referee: WWF champion The Rock
I must say... I really feel the heel heat both Austin and Jericho received. And The Rock's face pop is as electrifying as ever.
Good main event. It's definitely something you'd expect from the Attitude Era. The Rock was fun in this match. Austin and Jericho both looked really solid in their exchange.
The ending where The Rock slapped the mat three times with both Austin and Jericho down reminded me of what Stone Cold did to Undertaker and Kane at Judgment Day '98.
No winner decided but the millions and millions of the Rock's fans. Now, this leaves the question... who will become the next contender to Rock's WWF title?
-
Overall, a great comeback show. I guess you needed a break and I thought you'd never return to do this series. I'm glad you came back to entertain us.
My favorite match in this Raw edition was hands down... Eddie vs Kurt. That match alone pushed the rating for tonight's Raw to a 9/10 rating.
Looking forward to the next Raw installment in August. Take your time. The wait will be worth it. ^_^
