"Primetime" Elix Skipper VS. "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles WCW has always been known for its cruiserweights. Men like Dean Malenko, Rey Mysterio Jr., Juvy Guerrera, Billy Kidman they pioneered the cruiserweight division. That was 1996 now its 2001 men like Elix Skipper and AJ Styles are the new breed of cruiserweights taking to the air in WCW. AJ Styles came onto the scene calling himself the "Phenomenal" AJ Styles. However AJ has yet to be able to pin "Primetime" Elix Skipper. At every outing AJ is somehow bested by the vet Elix Skipper. AJ has challenged Elix to one final showdown on the biggest stage of them all. Will Elix take another victory and use it to cash in on a WCW Cruiserweight Title shot down the line? Or will AJ Styles defeat Elix Skipper for the first time on the biggest night of WCW's life?

"The Next Generation Superstar" Randy Orton VS. "The Rage'n Cajun" Lash LeRoux
Randy Orton became part of an extremely elite group of men that are third generation superstars. No one can deny the impact his father has had on WCW let alone the sport of pro wrestling. Randy Orton came onto the scene announcing he was the "future" he was the next generations superstar. He has had an undefeated streak like none other. Racking up wins against men like Hugh Morrus, and even Lash LeRoux. Lash had actually pinned Randy Orton wearing a mask claiming to be another man. Since Lash was dishonest with his indentity Randy petitioned to get the loss stricken from his record. Lash has proven he can pin Randy Orton and at Starrcade there will be no mistaken indentity, there will be no mask. Lash LeRoux has a chance to humble the young, arrogant Randy Orton. Randy has a chance to show the world that he truly is "The Next Generation Superstar".

Low Ki vs. Rhyno Rhyno debuted into WCW doing what he does best. Being an unstoppable monster. He ran through Bam Bam Bigelow in what might be the most bloody, violent match since WCW rebirth. After putting Bam Bam's head through a car window and piledrivering him through a windshield Rhyno became the WCW Extreme Champion. Formally the WCW Harcore Title Rhyno felt the word extreme represented his style, his attitude better. Just when it looked as if there was no one left "man" enough to challenge this man beast enter Low Ki. In the world of pro wrestling the words "warrior" and "respect" are mis used constantly. Low Ki promised to bring, glory, honor, respect back to WCW. He promised to do it by taking down the man beast, he promised that not only would he defeat "The Man Beast" Rhyno, but he would take that "Extreme" title and make it pure again. The battle lines have been drawn, the rules are simple....there are none. Can Low Ki survive in this beasts jungle? Or will Rhyno's atittude provide to be even too extreme for this modern day warrior? The title, the respect are all on the line as these two men collide in what promises to be the most violent, the most cringe worthy battle of the night.

Billy Kidman vs. Tajiri w/ Jim Cornette Billy Kidman pioneered the WCW Cruiserweight division in the late ninties. He became an icon of what WCW was all about. His friendship with Rey and Juvy Guerrera made the division that much more entertaining and fun to watch. That friendship has directly caused this match. Jim Cornette has taken the likes of the Jung Dragons, Psychosis and now Tajiri and waged war with these men on the tag team and cruiserweight divisions respectfully. Tajri cost Juvy Guerrera the WCW Cruiserweight title. Billy Kidman refuses to stand back and let Jim Cornette and his camp of forgein stars take over his division. Does Billy Kidman have enough left in the tank to overcome the "Japanese Buzzsaw". Or will Tajiri's experiance in the violent ECW and his association with Jim Cornette prove to be the undoing of this cruiserweight legend?
