Hard Justice opened with the Sovereign Bank Arena in darkness but then the lights came on and Rapper FILTHEE and his band were standing in front of the TNA entrance way and then they performed their hit and the official song for tonight’s Pay Per View ‘Ay,Ay,Ay’ as…
A video then aired looking at the feature matches on tonight’s Pay Per View; Last Man Standing Match: AJ Styles V Kurt Angle, ‘New Jersey’ Street Fight: Christian Cage and Rhino V Team 3D and the Main Event which will be for the TNA World Championship Weapon Filled Six Sides of Steel Match: Champion Samoa Joe defends against Booker T!
Mike Tenay’s voice then welcomed everyone to Hard Justice, we then joined ‘The Professor’ and his Broadcast partner Don West standing in front of their Announce table at ringside. Don West then said it was a great way to kick off the Pay Per View with FILTHEE he said he has the Sovereign Bank Arena pumped! Tenay then said that they were also pumped because tonight they were here to see TNA’s most ‘Hardcore Pay Per View of the Year’ which will be headlined by the huge Weapon’s Filled Six Sides of Steel Match where the TNA World Champion ‘The Samoan Submission Machine’ Samoa Joe will finally want to show once and for all that he can beat Booker T.
West then said that was not all by a long stretch because also tonight all four TNA Champions will be in action and two more Titles will be on the line when TNA X-Division Champion ‘Maple Leaf Muscle’ Petey Williams will defend his Championship against Rookie Consequences Creed and in a rematch from Victory Road TNA Tag Team Champions LAX will defend their Titles against Beer Money Inc…
Mike Tenay then said that tonight’s Pay Per View was a stacked show because also we would see three very personal Hardcore Matches… ‘Black Tie Brawl and Chain Match’ pitting ‘Black Machismo’ Jay Lethal V ‘The Guru’ Sonjay Dutt, ‘New Jersey’ Street Fight: Christian Cage and Rhino V Team 3D and maybe, finally we would settle the most personal feud in TNA’s 6 year plus history when Kurt Angle faces ‘The Phenomenal One’ AJ Styles in a Last Man Standing Match!
Don West then said that also tonight after waiting a month to find out the answer hopefully we will find out why Sting laid out Samoa Joe at Victory Road and why his bat has been responsible for laying Samoa Joe out on 3 more separate occasions, Tenay then said it was time for tonight’s PPV to get off and running with some tag team action but then some familiar music hit…
B.G James then made his way out to a polite ovation from the New Jersey crowd and then BG after slapping hands with some fans came down to ringside and he shook hands with Tenay and West. B.G then told them that he has spoken with TNA Management and if it’s alright with them he would like to join them on Commentary tonight, Tenay then looked at West and he spoke on behalf off both of them and he said they wouldn’t have a problem with, Tenay, West and B.G then took their seats and when B.G had put on his headset he said if Frank Trigg and Hermie Sadler can do this gig then he sure as hell thinks he could give it a pop…
Motor City Machine Guns’ music then hit and then former X-Division Champion Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley ran out on to the stage and then they started jumping up and down excited to be on PPV then as they made their way out highlights aired from this past Thursday on Impact…
‘Black Machismo’ Jay Lethal and Consequences Creed upset The Motor City Machine Guns after Creed surprised Shelley when he went for his Slice Bread N0.2 with a school boy roll up for the victory. After the match Alex Shelley refused to shake hands with Consequences Creed…
Motor City Machine Guns were now in the ring spinning their dog tags around in their hands then tossing them out into the crowd as Mike Tenay said that it seemed that there was a slight change in attitude from Alex Shelley this past Thursday when he refused to shake Consequences Creed hand! West then admitted he was surprised but then B.G James put it into context he said that Motor City Machine Guns have all the potential to go and become multi time Tag Team Champions but every time they get closer to a shot something always knocks them back a peg or too and this past Thursday as talented as Jay Lethal and Creed are the defeat knocked Sabin and Shelley down a peg… Tenay and West said they could see B.G’s point but now they have a great opportunity to get back right in contention if they could beat The Rock ‘n’ Rave Infection who were being led out as they spoke by Christy Hemme…
Christy Hemme then ordered a microphone and was about to speak as Jimmy Rave and Lance Rock played their air guitars but the Motor City Machine Guns never wanted to hear what Christy had to say so then from behind Chris Sabin dropkicked Lance Rock out of the ring as Alex Shelley did the same to Jimmy Rave then Hemme screamed as she ran out of the ring and then she held back Rock and Rave and told them to hurt Sabin and Shelley as a Motor City chant went around the arena…
Finish: Chris Sabin and Lance Rock were once again the legal men and Rock had the advantage after he dropped Sabin with a tilt a whirl slam and then he pointed at the top rope and told the crowd they were about to see high flying! Rock then climbed the turnbuckle in preparation for a Moonsault it would seem but Sabin managed to get back to his feet and then he crotched Rock on the top rope and then he pulled him down into the tree of woe position and Rock had nowhere to go then Sabin went into the opposite corner but then as Sabin was getting the crowd on their feet Jimmy Rave made a blind tag but then Sabin still nailed Rock with his Hesitation Drop Kick in the corner but then when he turned around Rave surprised Sabin with a lo dropkick to the knee which dropped Sabin on his face and then he took a couple of steps back and then he caught a seated Sabin with a Running Knee to the face and then he covered Sabin…
1…
2…
No! Alex Shelley was there to break up the pin attempt and then he caught Rave with a couple of kicks and forearms then he went to send Rave into the corner but Rave countered the Irish whip with a knee to the mid section and then he quickly hooked Shelley’s head and leg then he planted him with his ‘Move that Rocked the World’ but then before he could attempt to cover Shelley… Chris Sabin was waiting for Jimmy Rave and then he spiked Rave with his Cradle Shock and then with Lance Rock still trapped upside down in the corner Sabin covered Rave by seating on his chest and hooking both of his legs…
1…
2…
3!!
Chris Sabin then checked on Alex Shelley who was getting back to his feet but then Shelley pushed Sabin in the chest which took Sabin by surprise but then a pumped Shelley told Sabin that’s more like it then they hugged and celebrated their victory as the fans were on their feet and Christy Hemme and Andrew Thomas were helping Rock and Rave from the ring…
Mike Tenay, Don West and B.G James were then shown and Tenay said that up next the lightening fast, high flying action will continue because ‘Maple Leaf Muscle’ Petey Williams will defend his TNA X-Division Championship against the impressive rookie Consequences Creed a man who holds a victory over the TNA X-Division Champion…
Alex Shelley then came over and slammed his hands on the Commentators table and he told the commentators that later tonight they will have a keen eye on the TNA Tag Team Title Match! Chris Sabin then winked at them and made a shooting motion…
Don West then said that the Tag Title Match was to come later tonight but up now as Tenay has already said it was time for the biggest match in the short career of Consequences Creed because he has a chance to make history and become the TNA X-Division Champion. B.G James said that Creed has impressed him he said he has come into TNA and after taking a little while to find his feet he has recently started to get people’s attention he said he gave Booker T a good fight and he holds victories over two top X-Division stars in Alex Shelley and Petey Williams himself. B.G also said that what he has also done in his victories over Williams and Shelley he has used their favoured move against them and that has to be unsettling for the X-Division Champion! Mike Tenay said that he highly doubts that Petey Williams will take Creed lightly again…
Consequences Creed’s music then hit and then Creed made his way out in his Red, White and Blue ring attire looking as B.G James pointed like Apollo Creed from Rocky III but Tenay said that Tenay it would be Creed in the role off the underdog. Creed to his credit never looked nervous he was slapping hands with fans and passing out small American flags on his way out and then he got into the ring did a little dance and then he motioned for the X-Division Title…
Footage was then shown from Impact two weeks ago from the Consequences Creed – Petey Williams None Title Match showing how Creed countered Williams patent Canadian Destroyer with a roll up for the upset victory! Can lightening strike twice…?
TNA X-Division Champion ‘Maple Leaf Muscle’ Petey Williams was then led out by Scott Steiner’s favourite freak Rhaka Khan, Williams looked more focused than he did two weeks ago but he still had time to pose and flex his muscles. Once they were in the ring Petey Williams got right up in Creed’s face and he told him it was a fluke the first time and tonight he would put him in his place he then took his title from around his waist and held it by Creed’s face but Creed didn’t react he just smiled at Williams then Referee Slick Mark Johnson backed Petey Williams but then Rhaka Khan got in Creed’s face and Creed kept smiling as a ‘Khan’s Going to Kill You’ chant broke out in the arena but then Khan turned around and was about to leave but then Creed patted her on her ass as she left and she wasn’t happy about it and neither was Petey Williams who came over and pushed Creed but again Johnson got in between them and he ordered Khan from the ring…
Petey Williams then again took Creed down with a side headlock and he kept it on for a few seconds but then Creed managed to wrap his legs around Williams’ head locking him in a head scissors but then Williams easily got out of it and he was up to his feet before Creed and then he started doing jumping jacks and then when Creed got back to his feet Williams pie faced Creed and Creed who looked frustrated to start then smiled at Williams then he told the Champion he’s got him right where he wants him! Williams then threw a right hand at Creed but Creed ducked it and then he caught Williams with a number of left hand jabs and then he dropped him with a big time right hand and then when Williams got up he was quickly taken down with an arm drag then Williams got back up but another arm drag by Creed took Williams down then a flustered Williams got back to his feet but then Creed dropped Williams with a drop kick and this time Williams rolled out of the ring and then he pulled at the ring apron obviously annoyed by getting shown up by the rookie who may have Williams number, Consequences Creed was in the ring challenging Petey Williams to get back in and face him, does Creed have Williams right where he wants him and will he manage to shock the world and become the new TNA X-Division Champion!
Finish: The match went back and forward time and again with both men having spells in control and neither man willing to give in because they both had something to prove. Creed then back dropped Williams on to the ring apron but then Williams hung Creed’s neck on the top rope and he caught Creed with a springboard lung blower which knocked the wind out of the challenger then Williams covered Creed…
1…
2…
Creed with a shoulder up, Williams then picked Creed up and he went to send him into the ropes but Creed reversed it and then he nailed Williams with a hip toss into a neckbreaker which popped the fans and then Creed covered Williams…
1…
2…
Williams just about kicked out Creed then attempted to stay on Williams but Williams used a cheap trick by racking Creed’s eyes and then he quickly went for his Canadian Destroyer but Creed had a counter for it he smashed Williams with an Alabama Slam and then he hooked both of Williams legs and grabbed both his arms and he covered Williams and the fans thinking it was over counted along with Mark Johnson…
1…
2…
3…No!! Last second Williams managed to wriggle free, a ‘that was 3’ chant then went around the arena but Creed couldn’t let it effect him he then raised his fist and screamed it was time for the knockout blow and then when Williams managed to get back to his feet Creed nailed Williams with a number of left jabs again then he did a little jive did the splits and then he went to nail Williams with a right hand but he ducked it and surprised Creed with a Russian Legsweep which he rolled through then he got up and locked Creed in the Sharpshooter!!
Fans were on their feet thinking Creed was going to tap while all 3 Commentators agreed that Williams had it locked in perfectly and also said while Creed wasn’t in the middle of the ring he was still a fair distance away from the ropes to break the hold. Fans were willing Creed on but he was in a lot of pain and he was reaching out for the ropes but he couldn’t reach then he started pulling at his afro to stop himself from tapping out but then Creed started crawling and pulling Williams weight with him towards the bottom rope and Williams looked in shock, Creed kept crawling and then he just about managed to grab the bottom rope and break the hold which Williams never did straight away, Johnson had to pull Williams off! Williams then dropped to his knees in shock as Creed was slowly using the ropes to get back to his feet then a ‘Let’s Go Creed/Let’s Go Petey’ chant went off then Petey Williams got back to his feet with a look of determination on his face and he signalled for the Canadian Destroyer then he crouched behind Creed waiting for him to turn around and then Creed turned around…
kick to the mid section…
Canadian Destroyer!!
…No…
Creed’s blocked it again by dropping on Williams’ chest and hooking both of his legs the same way he beat him in the None Title Match…
1…
2…
2 and 9 tenths!! Williams just and I mean just barely popped his shoulder up saving his Title, Creed held his head in shock while Petey let out a huge gasp off air he knows he was close to losing his Championship! ‘This is Awesome’ was coming from the fans now and Don West said he totally agreed but he also thought they were about to crown a new X Division Champion!
Creed then picked Williams up and he sent him into the corner and he followed him in but Williams floated over Creed’s shoulder and Creed hit the turnbuckle chest first and then Williams jumped to the middle rope and then he came off it and he caught Creed with a spinning DDT out of the corner but both men were on their backs feeling the effects of a tough match. Williams then got back to his feet first and he seen Creed was stirring so he picked Creed up…
… CREEDDT!!
Fans are on their feet, Tenay, West and James are in shock on commentary because they know that all Creed has to do is crawl over turn Williams over and he will be the new X Division Champion, Creed is moving he is crawling towards Williams he turns him over…
1…
2…
3… No!! Once again Petey Williams somehow some way manages to get up, Creed is in shock he is now arguing the fall with Mark Johnson simply out of frustration, Rhaka Khan is now trying to get Williams back in the match by slamming her hands on the mat but Williams seems out of it he is starting to move but he doesn’t to be there, Creed then goes back to Williams but Williams surprises Creed with a small package!
1…
2…
Creed just about kicks out the fans thought it was over, Don West said he was sweating just watching it and he said he doesn’t now how much more he can take then B.G James said they are doing things he couldn’t even think off and he said they are showing why the X-Division revolutionised this sport off ours…
Both men were then back up to their feet at the same time and then they started exchanging right hands Creed started to get the better of it and he backed Williams into the corner where he continued to nail Williams with rights it dropped Williams on his ass but then Mark Johnson pulled Creed away from Williams and then when Creed came back at him Williams surprised him with a spinning heel kick and then he rolled out on to the ring apron where he then slowly started climbing to the top rope but then Creed managed to get back to his feet on time and then he surprised Williams with a shot to the ribs and then Creed climbed to the middle rope and met Williams with some more right hands and then he tried hooking Petey for a Superplex but Williams countered with punches of his own to Creed’s ribs and then he pushed Creed back off the middle rope where Creed landed on his feet but bent forward so then in an instant Williams jumped off the middle rope trapped Creed’s head in between his leg and then he spiked him with his Canadian Destroyer!!
1…
2…
3!!
Petey Williams stayed on his back after the match feeling effects of easily his toughest defence to date as Referee Mark Johnson checked on Consequences Creed who put in a great performance, a star making performance tonight even in defeat. Rhaka Khan was now in checking on Petey Williams and the fans are on their feet in appreciation for the match that had just witnessed. Mark Johnson then rested the TNA X-Division Championship on Petey Williams and then he pointed at Williams to officially him as the winner, Petey then managed to roll out of the ring and then Rhaka Khan took the Title off him and then she put Williams arm around her neck and she then started helping Williams to the back as Consequences Creed was now getting back to his feet and was met with a nice show of respect from the crowd then Williams stopped Khan and he turned back to face Creed who then implied to Williams that he was inches away from becoming Champion and then he smiled at Petey Williams!
Don West then said that the 2nd match in may have been the show stealer he then told Mike Tenay and B.G James that it was going to be tough to top that even with 7 more matches to come including two more Title matches and many grudge matches. B.G James then said it was ironic that on TNA’s most Hardcore of Pay Per Views it would a pure Wrestling match that could steal the show. Mike Tenay then said that it was a great match but there are bigger matches still to come like the huge Grudge Match between AJ Styles and Kurt Angle where he hopes their differences are settled once and for all after their Last Man Standing Match and then in our Main Event we would see the Six Sided ring surrounded by the Six Sides of Steel which would then be filled with weapons as TNA World Champion Samoa Joe hopes to prove to the world that he can beat Booker T and get his Championship belt back in the process while also send a message to ‘The Icon’ Sting that he was waiting and ready for him…
Footage was then shown from before Hard Justice came on the air off Kurt Angle and his friend Frank Trigg arriving at the arena in a rental car together…
‘The Phenomenal One’ AJ Styles was then shown backstage getting checked over by the TNA medical staff and he seemed relaxed heading into one of the toughest matches of his life…
Cameras were then backstage looking at Booker T’s self decorated locker room which had a sign on the door which read ‘Champion In Training! DO NOT DISTURB!!’
Finally cameras went into the locker room where Samoa Joe was taping his wrists up for his match against Booker T while Kevin Nash sat behind him chilled out reading a magazine.
Mike Tenay then said that them two huge matches are still to come but now we would see an Open Challenge, Tenay then said that over the weekend Matt Morgan went to TNA Director of Authority Jim Cornette and requested this match and Cornette agreed so it was announced over the weekend on TNA.COM and now here it is…
Matt Morgan music then hit and then ‘The Blueprint’ slowly made his way out to a nice ovation from the New Jersey crowd and then Morgan stepped over the top rope into the ring and then TNA Ring Announcer David Penzer gave Matt Morgan his microphone…
Matt Morgan: “TNA keep putting people in his way and he just keeps running through them like there not there, he has only just starting to live up to his untapped and undeniable potential and also he is starting to show why he is the future of this business and why he is The Blueprint of a professional wrestler in 2008! Morgan said the sky is the limit for him and he aint going to hide from no man or back down from any fight and that’s why he’s out here tonight to see who in TNA wants to disagree with him!”
Johnny Devine then made his way out with his trusty video camera and kendo stick then when he made his way to the former TNA X-Division Champion and the associate of Team 3D set his video camera up and then with his Kendo Stick in hand he rolled into the ring, Matt Morgan didn’t look happy that Johnny Devine had come out and also he wasn’t given much of a chance from the commentators either…
1…
2…
3… It’s over, Matt Morgan once again very impressive on his way to victory, Tenay and West then agreed that the TNA Roster better start looking at Matt Morgan as a force to be reckoned with and then B.G James says he knows for a fact that the TNA Roster is looking and talking about Matt Morgan.
Matt Morgan then after the match stepped over the top rope and jumped to the ringside floor where he then went over to Devine’s camera and then he looked into it and he said again that he is The Blueprint of a professional wrestler in 2008!
TNA Reporter Jeremy Borash was then backstage and he said that he has been at the Sovereign Bank Arena all day he even got here before everybody else because he wanted to be the first to know if ‘The Icon’ Sting was going to be here tonight and he at this moment in time he can reveal that from all the information he is getting… Sting may very well be here in attendance tonight! Borash said he will give everything to find Sting and try and get a word with him and when he does the TNA fans will witness it also!
Mike Tenay then thanked JB and told him to keep them posted but up next it was time for the 1st ever very unique ‘Black Tie Brawl and Chain Match’ pitting former best friends against each other it will be ‘The Guru’ Sonjay Dutt V ‘Black Machismo’ Jay Lethal and their friendship exploded because both men fell in love with the same girl So Cal Val…
Video then aired looking at the Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt friendship but then Jay Lethal started having feelings for TNA Ring Girl So Cal Val and then slowly a relationship started to grow between Lethal and Val which pushed Dutt aside. Dutt however would start showing up on some of Lethal and Val’s dates and make things awkward for the lovebirds but then things turned awkward for Dutt when Lethal proposed to Val and she said… Oh Yeah!! TNA Slammiversary Lethal and Val were all set to get married but then during the wedding Dutt interrupted and told Val he loved her! Dutt then tossed his friendship with Lethal out of the window when he laid Lethal out on his wedding day! Since that night Dutt has been a constant thorn in the side of Lethal and it seems he is slowly turning Val against Lethal she believed him when he faked getting hit by a Lethal chair shot and she has even forgave Dutt for stealing her wedding ring and this was after Jay Lethal tried proposing again and then after he learned that her ring was missing he walked out on So Val Cal…
So Cal Val was then shown at ringside as B.G James asked Don West what the rules for this match were, West said that both men would wrestle in Tuxedo’s and there would be No Disqualifications or Count Outs and the only way to win would be via pinfall, submission or stripping their opponent off their Tuxedo all while they will be joined at the wrists by a Chain!
‘The Guru’ Sonjay Dutt’s music then hit and then Sonjay Dutt made his way out in a white Tuxedo and a black doo-rag he wasn’t met with the greatest reception from the New Jersey crowd. When Dutt got to ringside he told So Cal Val that he didn’t want to do this he then got into the ring and waited the arrival of his former best friend Jay Lethal…
Oh Yeah!! ‘Black Machismo’ Jay Lethal’s music then hit and Lethal hurried towards the ring in a black Tuxedo and So Cal Val was applauding Lethal, Lethal then got into the ring and he went straight into the middle of the ring and he put his left wrist out for Senior Referee Rudy Charles to put the chain around his waist but then Dutt got closer to Lethal and he told him they never had to do this but Lethal told him to shut his mouth then Dutt turned to Val and he told her he tried but then Lethal grabbed the chain and he wrapped it around Dutt’s neck and then Rudy Charles had to call for the start of the match…
Sonjay Dutt now wearing just his open shirt and trousers eventually got control off the match after he sent Jay Lethal into the ring steps; Lethal was just missing his shoes. Dutt then walked up to So Cal Val and he held her face then he told her that he will have to do this he then grabbed a steel chair tossed it into the ring then he rolled Lethal back in then he slide back in after him then he started laying into Lethal with a number of vicious shots with the chain and he took his time with each one…
Finish: Lethal and Dutt now both in just their trousers were beaten the hell out of each other, using the chain when ever they could get their hands on it. Jay Lethal then sent Dutt into the corner and then he followed him in but then Dutt avoided it by sitting on the middle rope then Lethal hit the corner and then Dutt using the ropes as leverage sat back and kicked Lethal in the face and then he seized Lethal up and then when Lethal turned around he dropped him with a leg sweep and then he picked up a steel chair, he then held it to his chest and then he nailed Lethal with a running Shooting Star Press with the chair crushing Lethal’s ribs then Dutt rolled over and covered Lethal…
1…
2…
Lethal managed to kick out so then Dutt who looked shocked grabbed the chain and wrapped it around Lethal’s neck and then he turned him and planted him with a neckbreaker with the chain and then another cover…
1…
2…
Lethal again kicked out so Sonjay Dutt then stood above Lethal and then he picked up Lethal by his left trouser leg and then he told the crowd he was going to rip off Lethal’s last remaining garment but then Lethal using his other leg pushed Dutt off and to his ass, Dutt was up first and he ran at Lethal with a clothesline but Lethal countered it with a hip toss and then he cart wheeled picked up the chair through it in Dutt’s face while he was seated and then he dropkicked the chair into Dutt’s face! Lethal feeling the effects off the match was a bit slow to cover Dutt but he then managed to crawl across Dutt…
1…
2…
Sonjay Dutt managed to get a shoulder up, Lethal was pumped he was back on his feet waiting for Dutt to get up then he dropped Dutt with a number of clotheslines with the chain and then he climbed up to the top rope where he started to wrap the chain around his fists and then he pulled Dutt back to his feet with his chain and then he nailed Dutt with a double Axehandle with the chain, which got a TNA chant from the crowd. Lethal then covered Dutt as the fans chanted along…
1…
2…
No!! Sonjay Dutt barley got his shoulder up, Lethal then picked up the steel chair as Dutt got to his knees but then So Cal Val started banging on the ring apron she told Lethal he had gone far enough but Lethal shouted at Val to back up but then Sonjay took the advantage to dropkick the chair into Lethal’s face!! A small Slut chant then broke out directed at Val as Sonjay Dutt covered Jay Lethal…
1…
2…
Lethal refuses to be beaten by Sonjay Dutt! Sonjay now picked up the steel chair and he waited for Jay Lethal to get back to his feet but then Val climbed on the ring apron and she got Dutt’s attention and she told him not to use the chair, she told him if he really loved her he would drop the chair!! Dutt seemed reluctant but he then dropped the chair but then he turned back to Lethal… Lethal Combination!!
1…
2…
Sonjay was lucky that Lethal couldn’t cover him straight away following one his favoured moves, Lethal then struggled back to his feet and then he stared out at Val and then he went over to Sonjay Dutt and he released him from the chain and then he wrapped the whole chain around his fist then when Dutt got back to his feet Lethal floored Dutt with his fully loaded right hand, Lethal then picked up the steel chair which he then rested on Dutt’s face and then he pointed at the top turnbuckle which got the fans to their feet in anticipation, Lethal then made his way on to the apron but then Val again grabbed his foot and told him not to do it but then Lethal pulled his foot free and then he started making his way up the turnbuckle but then he stopped half way up then he looked back at Val but then he still freed himself from the chain but then he wrapped it around his elbow and then he got to the top rope stood their for a second and then he came off the top rope nailing Dutt with his chain covered elbow drop onto the chair which Dutt’s head was under!! H*ly Shit! Fans were on their feet as Lethal rolled around the ring holding his elbow in agony, So Cal Val then left she started walking back up the aisle but then she stopped just before she walked through the curtain and turned back to watch as Lethal managed to lay back on Dutt’s unconscious body…
1…
2…
3!!
Fans were on their feet as Rudy Charles checked on Lethal but he brushed Charles off but he was clearly hurting after a tough battle especially his elbow. Charles then checked on Dutt who was still out of it so he called for assistance, a couple of TNA doctors then came out and checked on Sonjay Dutt and they sat Dutt up and he then started to move and gain some conscious. Jay Lethal then was back on his feet then he raised his good arm in victory but then he stopped in his tracks and looked down at Sonjay while he was getting checked on he even looked a bit worried about Sonjay for a second but then he rolled out of the ring and slowly still holding his elbow made his way backstage…
Replay aired looking at the finish off the match which saw Jay Lethal brutally nail Sonjay Dutt with an elbow drop while their was a chain around his elbow and a chair on Sonjay’s face!!
Sonjay Dutt was then helped from the ring by officials as Mike Tenay said that he was expecting Jay Lethal and Sonjay Dutt to fight but he never expected it to end like this. Don West then said that the issue between Lethal and Dutt may have been settled but it is still unclear as to who So Cal Val’s future lies with Lethal or Dutt! B.G James then said he pats both men on the back for their performance and he said when a women’s at stake pride gets in the way and it was going to take something as brutal as what Jay Lethal dished out to finally settle their match.
Mike Tenay then said he has just been told that TNA Reporter Jeremy Borash was backstage with TNA’s Director of Authority Jim Cornette…
Jeremy Borash was then back with Jim Cornette and he said that Jim asked for this time so the microphone was all his; Cornette then thanked Borash and he said a lot of things were going on in TNA at the minute some things that he agrees with and some that he doesn’t but he doesn’t make all the decisions around here. Cornette said that tickets were selling well for their next UK tour at the beginning off next year and a new date in Dublin, Ireland has been added. TNA are working on making their television product HD. Bound for Glory is only 2 months away and he can’t wait for TNA’s biggest PPV of the year to get here and he said if things go to plan he has plans to turn the 4th Bound for Glory into the greatest of them all. He is looking forward to No Surrender next month their Pay Per View debut in Canada. Cornette then said that there a few things that he isn’t happy with like one of the brightest stars in the company Kaz walking out on them like Tomko not being able to come to terms on a new contract and there’s others but said he wouldn’t go into them now all he will say is that he would like more control over what happens in TNA, he said he would like TNA Management to put more trust in him because he would love to have complete control over the TNA he said he would like to be the match maker be in control of TNA and to TNA Management’s credit they have told him that they will think it over and get back to him but in the mean time he said that he is going to show them that they can trust TNA in his hands! Jim Cornette then said that one thing he has never agreed with in TNA is that TNA Championships can change hand via count out or disqualification so he has convinced TNA Management to drop that ruling from tonight and he informed all the Champions and Contenders earlier tonight and now he is informing everyone else! Cornette said that hopefully more trust will be put in him but even if things remain the same he is going to try and make some changes here in TNA!
Mike Tenay, Don West and B.G James then spoke about the rule change and they all said that only in TNA that rule applied and Tenay and James said they like how they have gone back and got with tradition. Don West then commented on Cornette wanting more control over TNA and he said it would be interesting to see if anything comes about. B.G then said that Cornette is a control freak and it was only a matter of time before he wanted to get his hands on the talent that is currently working for TNA! Mike Tenay then said speaking off talent up next we would see the TNA Tag Team Titles on the line when Champions LAX defend their titles against ‘Tennessee Cowboy’ James Storm and Robert Roode off Beer Money Inc…
Sunday 13th July 2008: TNA Victory Road: Fan’s Revenge Strap Match: TNA Tag Team Champions LAX defeated Beer Money Inc…
Highlights then aired from the Impacts since Victory Road which has saw Beer Money Inc go on a rampage with whips they have laid into Referees, Staff, Don West, Motor City Machine Guns, Brotherhood of Justice and Hector Guerrero also this past Thursday on Impact they double Power bombed Homicide through a glass table!!
TNA Ring Announcer David Penzer then took centre ring and he told everyone in attendance that it was now for the TNA Tag Team Championship Match…
Sorry, About Your Damn Luck… Beer Money Inc. Robert Roode and James Storm led by Ms. Jackie Moore then made their way out and the fans were letting them have it but they didn’t care James Storm even wound them up by spitting beer out into the crowd and laughing about it then Robert Roode stood on the ring apron looked out into the crowd and then he slowly motioned for the TNA Tag Team Titles…
Gun shots were then heard in the arena but they wasn’t followed up with any music but then more gun shots were let off in the arena and then Grandmaster Caz came out on to the stage and then he started singing LAX’s music and then the TNA Tag Team Champions Homicide and Hernandez made their way out with Salinas and Hector Guerrero behind them they then embraced Caz as they got into the ring and Salinas and Hector Guerrero had to stop Homicide and Hernandez from jumping Roode and Storm before the bell but it was hard especially with Roode and Storm mocking them from their corner. Also it was pretty clear that Homicide hadn’t healed from the glass table on Thursday because he left shoulder and he was back was taped up to cover the cuts he also had extra bandage on his elbow…
Hernandez then used his power to control James Storm pushing him away in lock ups, flooring him with shoulder tackles etc so then Storm got frustrated and tagged in Roode mockingly gave him a thumbs up and then when Roode got into the ring Storm pushed Roode towards Hernandez who then picked up Roode in a military press and held him up there for at least 20 seconds before dropping Roode on his face. Homicide then held out his hand and shouted for a tag but Hernandez told him to wait a minute, Roode then surprised Hernandez with a knee to the gut and then he nailed him with a couple of forearms to the back then he told Storm that’s how you do it Roode then took a couple of steps but then Hernandez exploded with a hard clothesline which rocked Roode but he popped right back up so Hernandez dropped him with another followed then by a back body drop, Roode then quickly crawled over into his corner where he was met with a hug from James Storm and Ms. Jackie. Hernandez then challenged him to come get some more then Roode got back to his feet and then James Storm got into the ring as well and then they started pointing at yelling at Hernandez but then Homicide got into the ring but then Hernandez turned around and told Homicide to get out of the ring which then allowed Roode and Storm to jump Hernandez from behind, Hebner then got Homicide out of the ring and he was started to get annoyed, Roode and Storm were laying into Hernandez with punches and kicks then Hebner got focused and he ordered Storm out of the ring, Roode then took Hernandez off his feet with a nice standing dropkick. Homicide was now pacing on the apron and Hector was trying to calm him down, Roode then sent Hernandez into Beer Money’s corner and he followed him in with a clothesline followed by a few kicks to the ribs then Hebner got him out of the corner Roode backed away but then he pushed Homicide off the ring apron and then when Homicide crawled into the ring Roode had Hebner get Homicide out of the ring while Storm strangled Hernandez in the corner behind the refs back. The fans then started a huge 187 chant for Homicide, Storm was then tagged in then he and Roode dropped Hernandez again with a double clothesline. Storm then brought Hernandez over to a corner where he softened him up with some punches, forearms and elbows then he sat on the top turnbuckle and he grabbed Hernandez head setting him up for a swinging ddt but Hernandez used his neck muscles to block the move and he through Storm face first into the middle of the ring and then Hernandez started walking away from the corner and he was now close to his corner so Homicide leaned over and tagged himself in by slapping Hernandez back. Homicide then came in like a house on fire dropping Storm with a leg lariat, reverse elbows, clotheslines, knee lifts he was all over Storm then after he dropped Storm with a snap supflex Roode then ran in but Homicide was ready for him where he dropped him with a drop toe hold and his head landed in between Storm’s legs! Homicide then clotheslined Roode over the top rope and he landed in front of the commentators table and then he stayed on Roode by nailing him with a somersault tope and even though it hurt Homicide’s back he still managed to give the fans his ‘Brap, Brap, Brap’. B.G James said it seemed as if LAX was trying to protect Homicide to start the match but now Beer Money need to be protected from Homicide. Homicide then got back on to the ring apron but then Storm caught him with a knee to the back and then he went to supflex Homicide back into the ring but Homicide floated over Storm’s shoulder and then he rolled up Storm…

Roode broke up the pin attempt and then he dropped Homicide with a clothesline and then he helped Storm up and then he planted Homicide with a double supflex… Storm: “BEER!” Roode: “MONEY!” Hernandez then came in but Storm and Roode managed to kick him in the gut and then they went to double supflex Hernandez but he managed to block it and then he nailed Storm and Roode with a supflex at the same time which got the fans on their feet and a LAX chant going in the arena…
Finish: Beer Money worked over Homicide’s injured back to keep control of the match also they would distract the referee and then Ms. Jackie would use her long nails and dig them into Homicide’s cuts but Roode telegraphed a back body drop and Homicide caught him with a neckbreaker and then he managed to crawl over and tag in Hernandez… Roode then tried to stop the tag but then Hernandez blasted Roode with a springboard shoulder tackle then he sent Roode flying with a huge back body drop, Storm then ran in and jumped on Hernandez back and locked him in a sleeper but Hernandez just dropped back squashing Storm between him and the mat. Hernandez then tagged in Homicide and then he sling shot Roode into a Homicide clothesline which knocked Roode back onto Hernandez’s knees and then Homicide hit Roode with a back senton splash LAX call that move ‘Drive By’, Homicide then covered Roode…

2…
Roode managed to kick out so then Homicide got up signalled for a lariat then he took off his elbow pad then he waited for Roode to get up and turn around while Hernandez ran at Storm who was by the ropes but Storm ducked and Hernandez momentum sent him over the top rope… Roode then turned around and Homicide went for his lariat but Roode ducked it and then Storm smacked Homicide with his ‘Last Call’ Super Kick!! Hebner then ordered Storm out of the ring as Roode covered Homicide so then Storm rushed out of the ring and then Hebner counted Homicide down… New Tag Team Champions?

2…
Homicide kicked out but then a pumped up Roode got up picked Homicide up and he told the fans it was over then he hooked Homicide into position for his Pay Off but at the last second Homicide twisted out of it and then he surprised Roode with his Gringo Cutter!! Homicide was in no condition to cover but then he got back to his feet but then Storm snuck back and from behind he grabbed Homicide and then he drilled him with a back cracker. Hebner then got in Storms’ face and ordered him out of the ring but he wasn’t leaving but then Hernandez got back in the ring so Storm ran at him but Hernandez planted him with a Spinebuster but then when he turned around Roode showed some unbelievable strength by planting Hernandez with a Spinebuster of his own but then when he turned around… Lariat!! Homicide nearly took Roode’s head off with a stiff lariat, Homicide covered Roode…
1…
2…
Long 2 count!! Roode showed more strength by kicking out, Homicide was in shock he then picked Roode up and he tried locking him in position for his patent Gringo Killer but Roode pushed Homicide into the corner and then he went after Homicide but Homicide moved and Roode hit the turnbuckle high and then he fell over the top rope but then with Homicide turned to look at Roode, Storm squashed Homicide in the corner but then when he turned around Hernandez was waiting for him and he grabbed Storm around the neck with both hands and then he sent Storm flying across the ring with his Cracker Jack! Hernandez then told Homicide to go up top and they’ll finish Storm off Hernandez then sat Storm on his shoulders and then Homicide climbed to the top rope and then he Gringo Killered Storm off Hernandez shoulders! 5150! Fans were on their feet knowing it was over, Homicide then covered Storm but then Hebner was ordering Hernandez out of the ring telling him he and Storm weren’t the legal men then while this was going on Roode pulled Homicide out of the ring by his feet and then he spiked him with a ddt on the floor! Hernandez then saw this and then he went over to the ropes to try and get at Roode but Hebner was still in Hernandez face as Ms. Jackie took the opportunity to toss Storm a bare of handcuffs which he put over his knuckles and then he got up behind Hernandez but then…
Motor City Machine Guns!! Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin ran in with whips in hand and they started laying into James Storm and Hebner seen this and he had no choice but to call the match off!! Hernandez then turned around and he was mad he then went towards Shelley and Sabin but they bailed out of the ring where then Hector Guerrero got in their faces and asked them what they were doing but neither Shelley and Sabin answered him and then they made their way back up the aisle.
Robert Roode then pulled James Storm out of the ring and then he said that they should be the Tag Team Champions, Roode and Jackie then helped Storm back up the aisle as in the ring Hernandez was going mad he started shaking the ring ropes then Homicide rolled back into the ring then Salinas checked on him, Hector Guerrero then tried calming Hernandez down. Earl Hebner then got the Tag Titles but then Hernandez snatched them out of his hand then he gave one to Homicide himself, Mike Tenay said that if this event took place 24 hours earlier at the minute we would be talking about how Beer Money Inc. Robert Roode and James Storm would be the new TNA Tag Team Champions and how they would have had The Motor City Machine Guns to thank for it! B.G James said that he has had his disagreements with LAX but he knows first hand they aint going to be happy with Shelley and Sabin getting involved in their business. West then said that all hell broke loose at the end of that match he said it seemed LAX was on the verge of victory but it’s clear that nothing has been settled here tonight because Beer Money could have also easily left here tonight as the new Champions. Mike Tenay said that Motor City Machine Guns has turned the Tag Team Division on its head tonight but he said everyone will be expecting an explanation from Shelley and Sabin because revenge couldn’t have waited until another night.
TNA Reporter Jeremy Borash was backstage waiting for the TNA Tag Team Champions to come back through the curtain then Hernandez came through first but he was too pissed to talk then Hector Guerrero came through and he tried calming Hernandez down then JB asked Homicide for his thoughts on the end of their match. Homicide said Hector Guerrero got whipped like a slave he said he was put through a glass table so tonight they had two goals to get their revenge on Roode and Storms asses and second show why they are the greatest Tag Team in the business but of all people Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin to boy band poster boys ruined it for them, he then asked who the hell do they think they are because now they have entered a man’s world and they better have a good explanation or other wise LAX are going to get 51-50 on their ass! Hector Guerrero then told Homicide that they will get their revenge on Beer Money but he knows Sabin and Shelley well so he will talk to them and he is sure they will have an explanation. Hernandez then told Hector they better or he was going to mess up their pretty little faces!
Back at ringside we again joined Mike Tenay, Don West and B.G James and Tenay said that the fans are obviously not happy with the outcome off the last match but up next they will get to see something that they all came to see and that is the culmination of the most personal feud in TNA history because up next is the Last Man Standing Match pitting ‘Olympic Gold Medallist’ Kurt Angle V ‘The Phenomenal One’ AJ Styles…

Match 1.
Tag Team Match
Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) V The Rock ‘n’ Rave Infection (Lance Rock and Jimmy Rave) w/ Christy Hemme
Referee: Andrew Thomas. Time Limit: 20 Minutes.
Motor City Machine Guns dominated the start off the match using their speed and team work to their advantage which got the fans on their feet but Rock ‘n’ Rave took over when behind the officials back Chris Sabin went to bounce off the ring ropes but Lance Rock pulled up the top rope as Sabin was about to hit the ropes and it sent Sabin flying out of the ring. B.G James applauded Lance Rock’s move and also admitted that he has seen something in Rock for a while now. Rock then kept control off the match using his power and planting Sabin with a number of high impact moves like a Full Nelson Slam, Side Walk Slam and a back supflex also at one point he nearly took Sabin’s head off with a boot to the head when it seemed Sabin was about to mount some sort of comeback. After getting worked over then by both Rock and Jimmy Rave and having a couple of tag attempts thwarted Sabin finally managed to tag Alex Shelley in after it seemed Rock was going to send Sabin into orbit with a back body drop but Sabin managed to counter it with a nice hurricane rona. Alex Shelley then came in like a house on fire…Tag Team Match
Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) V The Rock ‘n’ Rave Infection (Lance Rock and Jimmy Rave) w/ Christy Hemme
Referee: Andrew Thomas. Time Limit: 20 Minutes.

Winners: Motor City Machine Guns.
TNA X-Division Championship: © ‘Maple Leaf Muscle’ Petey Williams V Consequences Creed… X Factors!!
• Consequences Creed holds a None Title victory over Petey Williams.
• Petey Williams becoming friends with Scott Steiner and winning the X-Division Title may have caused his confidence to go to his head and cost him lack of focus.
• Consequences Creed has to prove that his recent success hasn’t been beginners luck and he belongs at the top of TNA’ X-Division.
Match 2.
X-Division
TNA X-Division Championship
© Petey Williams w/ Rhaka Khan V Consequences Creed
Referee: Mark Johnson. Time Limit: 30 Minutes.
As the bell rang Petey Williams shouted over at Consequences Creed that he was going to beat him fast, they started off by locking up and it was Williams that managed to get behind Creed and then he dropped to his knees swept Creed’s feet and then he mounted Creed’s back and then he slapped him a number of times in the back of the head and then he got off and struck a pose and surprisingly Creed never got mad he just got back to his knees smiling at Williams. They hooked up again and Williams got Creed in a side head lock and he taunted Creed while holding him but then Creed sent Williams into the ropes but Williams dropped Creed with a shoulder tackle and again he struck another pose as Creed got back to his feet but he wasn’t smiling this time he seemed a bit frustrated. Mike Tenay said a focused Petey Williams is going to be a lot tougher for Consequences Creed…X-Division
TNA X-Division Championship
© Petey Williams w/ Rhaka Khan V Consequences Creed
Referee: Mark Johnson. Time Limit: 30 Minutes.

Creed with a shoulder up, Williams then picked Creed up and he went to send him into the ropes but Creed reversed it and then he nailed Williams with a hip toss into a neckbreaker which popped the fans and then Creed covered Williams…

2…

3!!
Winner: TNA X-Division Champion: Petey Williams.

Mike Tenay, Don West and B.G James then spoke about the rule change and they all said that only in TNA that rule applied and Tenay and James said they like how they have gone back and got with tradition.
