In order to raise the prestigue of the WCWA World Tag Team championships, WCWA owner Dave Lenker has implimented a "point system". In order to challenge for the World Tag Team championships, a team must now accumulate three points by winning three tag team matches in a row. These can come from two on two team matches, triple threat team matches, or tag team gauntlets. If a team loses a match, they are instantly sent back down to zero.
As of press time, the only active team with three points are already scheduled for a World Tag Team titles shot at HURT, and they are the BLK Out of Sabian & Ruckus.
