Been waiting a while for this damn show. Screw you for writing exactly 53 pages lol. Music video was very nice. Nice feel to the show. The opening commentary was superb. Shane Douglas gets better and better.
WCWA Junior Heavyweight Championship: ‘The Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels (c) vs. Chris Hero. The whole basis of this division is excitement, in my opinion. I like reading opening matches that can draw you in with excitement. This match was very well written and the commentary throughout was superb (The Ric Flair comment was hilarious). I loved the high risk action early on. Daniels missing that plancha to the outside sounded brutal. Hero was just plain dominating the early part of the contest. The stomp threw the table was just plain brutal. A wrestler already busted up in the first match! I was happy the match did not end when Hero locked in the Hangman’s Clutch and Daniels got the rope break. Daniels getting the school boy roll up scared me because I did not want it to end like that and if it did end like that, it would have been way to early. More action is always good. Nice finish. Glad to see Daniels retain his WCWA Junior Heavyweight championship. I thought the finish was rather bland to be honest. Still a great opening contest.
The backstage segment following the opening match was incredible. Great writing on your part. I do not know much of Team Ultraviolence fourth teammate, although he looks rather good. The ending of the promo is interesting. The masked man will defiantly make some sort of appearance tonight. This promo did a good job of demonstrating the hatred between the two teens. (I loved Nate Webb’s comment about the mustache.)
Do or Die match: ‘Mr. 630’ Jerelle Clark vs. Jack Evans. Very cool to see these guys flipping into the crowd not even 30 seconds into the match. Very… different. Not many do that. But with these two dudes, it’s only right. Very nice to see a bit of *gasp* chain wrestling from these two. I really like The Indian deahtlock? I must say I haven’t heard of it. Shane’s surprise of the chain/submission wrestling is hilarious. Very nice “flips” by the two. Nice “sunset into a power bomb.” I loved the match spilling outside of the ring. Overall, what a beautiful match. Nice, long, and enjoyable. The ending was classic. I can’t believe two high flyers like Jerelle Clark and Jack Evan would end the match with a Figure Four leg lock. Great to see Jerelle Clark pick up the victory.
Ah those magical words “WELL! WELL! WELL!” Very nice little introduction from Joel Gernter. HAHAHA. Joel’s question to Evil Ninja #1 made me chuckle. The ending of the interview was even more priceless! Excellent job.
Battle Royal: The winner will face CM Punk for the WCWA International championship. Jannetty is such a jobber. Super Dragon just owned his ass. Battle Royal must have been a pain in the ass to write, although it was very well written. I really enjoyed this match up dude. The fact that Marty Jannetty is one of the four men left in the ring gives me mixed feelings. Jesus Christ Drake Younger killed Marty. It seems that everyone is killing Marty these days. Thank God the jobber is out. Damn Evil Ninja #2 getting eliminated! He was evil enough to win, dude. The ending is rather… odd. I can’t believe Drake Younger eliminated himself. How the hell could he do that?
WCWA International championship match: SeXXXy Eddy vs. CM Pun (c)k. I thought this match was extremely well written, despite what you told me on AIM. Although it is a bit of a clash of styles, it was very well written. I cannot believe CM Punk won that match. I could see a feud between Punk and Douglas. Perhaps a OVW vs. WCWA feud. I know bold prediction but I could see it. Good match, shocked to see CM Punk run threw the crowd like… Marty Jannetty.
Funny backstage segment between Beef Wellington and Kurt Angle. Victory cake and victory ice cream sounds good lol.
Two out of three falls match: Kurt Angle vs. Jay Reso. First part of the match was extremely good. Nice action, a brutal Angle Slam by Kurt Angle, and a referee bump! Damn Reso with the first victory! Angle has to come back. This match cannot end in a sweep for Jay Reso. Damn I cannot believe Jay Reso won the second fall. Poor Beef Wellington. He tried to help out Kurt but instead costs Angle the match! I can’t believe Angle just slugged Beef! I can’t see a feud between the two. However, I did see Angle turning on Beef. Excellent match anyways my friend…
Interesting interview by Chris Jericho. I would have liked to see Chris Jericho say a few more words. Gertner being Gertner at the end of the interview. An okay backstage segment. Would have liked to see more words from Chris Jericho.
WCWA Television championship: Alex Shelly (c) vs. Beef Wellington. What a match! I cannot believe Beef Wellington defeats Alex Shelly to win the WCWA Television championship. Beef with the Angle Slam and the Ankle Lock. Too funny.
The Brian Kendrick… eh Spanky promo was extremely well done. Spanky is pissed off and that can mean no good.
WCWA World Heavyweight Championship match: Spanky (c) vs. Chris Jericho. Time to be amazed. I have been waiting to read this match for a while. Just a sick match, dude. This may have been your best match in a while. Filled with action and excitement. The ending was extremely well done. I can’t believe Spanky… cheated to win. I am glad Spanky won the match and retained his WCWA World Heavyweight Championship. Sucks that Jericho lost at his first ever Pay Per View match up. Great job.
Wargames match: Team Ultraviolence vs. Camp Corentte. What a ing sick as match, dude. Just sick and brutal. I cannot even remark on how violent that was. NEW JACK HAS ARRIVED! I love it. WOAH! He just turned on Team Ultraviolence! I cannot believe it! That Samoan Drop from onto the three tables was sick. The end was sick! Samoa Joe writing SPANKY across his chest in blood was an excellent way to end the Pay Per View. The masked men, New Jack, and Camp Corentte winning was excellent, in my opinion.
I must say this Pay Per View was excellent. Hands down excellent. The main events were great as was all the action. This PPV was definitely better then that old Unfinished Business. Great job man.
