RAW Preview: Live - AT&T Center- San Antonio, Texas
Last night at WrestleMania 23 history was made. A series of unexpected events occurred at WM23 that no one seen coming. In the WWE Championship match, John Cena(c) vs. Shawn Michaels, we seen HHH come down to ringside with his DX teammate HBK eventhough he was on crutches, nothing would stop The Game from joining HBK on the grandest stage of them all. HHH played a major role in the conclusion of the match when he cracked Cena in the back of the head with his crutch as he attempted the 5 Knuckle Shuffle on HBK, a stunned Cena turned around as HBK went for Sweet Chin Music but caught HBK's foot and went for the F-U but then HBK rolled Cena up for the pinfall and we now have a new WWE Champion in Shawn Michaels. What's next for Shawn Michaels and John Cena? Will their be a rematch and if so when will it take place?
The Women's Championship, however did not leave Raw as Melina was successful in her title defense. But what occurred after the match was very shocking. Melina made Ashley tap out to the California Dream but refused to release the hold until Trish Stratus made her return at Wrestlemania! How will Melina react to Trish's involvement last night? Will we hear from Trish tonight?
The New Breed defeated the ECW Originals in an 8-man elimination tag match... where we witnessed CM Punk come down to the ring and hit RVD in with a steel chair allowing Elijah Burke to capitalize with the pinfall. Will we see RVD seeking revenge on CM Punk tonight?
Also, after losing the Battle of the Billionaires match last night at WM23, Vince Mcmahon seemed to have entirely lost what was left of his mind when he smacked special referee Stone Cold Steve Austin across the face after Austin made the count declaring Lashley the winner. Mcmahon smacked Austin 3 times in the face and attempted to leave the ringside area but was caught by Trump who proceeded to drag Vince back to the ring for his shaving. As Lashley tied Vince down Austin started to taunt Mcmahon who then spit right in Austin's face. This pissed Austin off and he told Lashley "untie that sumbitch" Lashley did so and Austin threw Mcmahon into the ring where he proceeded to give Mcmahon three stunners. Then, Trump shaved Vince Mcmahon bald!!! After the haircutting and the Austin/Lashley/Trump beer bash which also included a stunner and running powerslam to both Umaga and Estrada respectively, Mcmahon was untied from the chair. And proceeded to go on a violent rampage attacking officials left and right. WWE.com has learned that Mr. Mcmahon will be making an announcement tonight that will shake the very foundations of sports-entertainment. What does Mr. Mcmahon have on his mind and how will it effect the fans and the WWE superstars?
