OK I told you somewhere Ant, that I would have you a review, and this has been long awaited I am sure. So here it is, my review for ICW Monday Night Collision#21.
Here is what I am thinking, the fact that you have Tazz as your world champ is actually a wise move if you ask me. The Jericho act is being pulled off very well in his favor of being a heel, but I am sure I did not need to tell you that. I personally think the two are going to be nice working a feud with.
I however think it must have been good, but at the moment have no time to read it, sorry but I may try to as soon as I get the time.
OK now that I got that out of the way, I want to move on to the first match. You wrote one hell of a triple threat match here, I actually thought anyone had a chance at it. The match kept like balancing out, and to me had a nice flow to it.
Nice segment with Christian, I do not really like him though, but you know whatever man. To me Edge was the best out of the two, and he just seems stale to me. Besides that, I definitely think that Rob Van Dam is out of his league. But I can see the revenge angle to work out smoothly.
OK seriously I would not see that happening as far as Matt insulting them like that, unless you are planning a brake up of the team.
The whole Hardy vs Storm match was nice, however I think that it was unrealistic at the end. Just my opinion but he already made the impact to Hardy, I think he should have just took the pin after the cradle pile driver. Because I actually have never seen someone raise a challenger up for a super kick after a move like that, unless they waited and let the person get themselfs up. So yeah only bad part of the match, other than that I was pleased with the outcome, of how good it was.
The attack afterwards seemed OK, as you are actually trying to put the team over as heels, but you also before the match was trying to put Matt Hardy over as a heel? Now that confuses me a tad, but whatever.
The Homicide interview actually appealed to me, being a fan of hardcore and death matches I do hope that he does bring honor to the belt.
The tag team match seems to be nice, I actually would like to see what you do with the division. Hell I think a tag team cup could be brought in, no objection from me, and a tournament for it would be quite nice.
The challenger was Sabu, did not see that coming really, I did not know who to expect though, so yeah pretty surprising. I loved the match, but the ending was something that I did somewhat think would happen as the promo hinted it. This was a pretty nice thing, I think you are giving him the style to make the hardcore division “pure”.
Dinsmore had a very nice promo.
The Kurt Angle match was so nice man!
Michael’s also had nice showmanship in the promo he did.
Dude the main event was great, but I do not think that Daniels can hang in there with Tazz but he seemed to hold his own against the heart brake kid, so I don’t know.
