Note worthy are all three announcements, with Evans being the centerpiece of the tournament to defend his title. This tournament will be xOMGx's official WCWA debut. SeXXXy Eddy, when hearing about the tournament, demanded he be the first entry, for his is the king of the three way.
The announced field of participants was updated 5/27/08, with the announcements of "Pure Dynamite" Billy Roc, Ryan Cruz, and Darin Corbin. Corbin & Cruz earned their spots in the tournament for their solid showing in the opening tag match of Synthetic episode 2.
On 6/28/08, another group of three were announced, with WCWA young gun Chrisjen Hayme, former WCWA World Junior Heavyweight champion Jerrelle Clark and.. the returning Hardcore Evil Ninja #2! He's the more evil of the two, ya know..
The newest announcement for the Menage Et Trois tournament comes following Synthetic episode 3. The BLK Out have officially entered the tournament. Representing BLK Out, in typical BLK Out strength in numbers style, will be Ruckus, Sabian, and Rpbby Mireno. Scotty Vortekz earned a gaurenteed spot in the Menage Et Trois tournament by winning a battle royal (as well as a title shot). The two runners up in the battle royal, Mickie Knuckles & LuFisto, have also earned spots in the tournament.
Due to military commitments, xOMGx has been forced to leave WCWA, at least for the time being. We wish xOMGx the best of luck as he defends our country. Unfortunately, due to his military commitments, xOMGx will be unable to participate in the Menage Et Trois tournament. His replacement will be WCWA's newest competitor.. Tyler Black!
The next update to Menage Et Trois is one that most probably didn't see coming, as two reigning WCWA champions have entered themselved in the Menage Et Trois tournament. Reigning WCWA Death Match Champion JC Bailey has entered himself in the tournament. Reigning WCWA Television champion Beef Wellington has also entered himself. The weight limit for the Junior Heavyweight title is two hundred and twenty pounds. At press time, Beef weighs two hundred and twenty and one quarter pounds with cheese. Will he be able to lose the extra weight before his match? Beef was quoted to be looking forward to two lovers at once. In addition to these two champions, WCWA newcomer Ricochet will have his debut in WCWA in the tournament. Ricochet is known for gravity defying flips and stuff that isn't supposed to be possible.
In the next huge update, "Diehard" Dustin Lee has been entered in the tournament. Will Diehard have to face his partner, Scotty Vortekz, sometime in the tournament? Jimmy Jacobs has also been announced. The third addition in this update is "Beer City's Own" Spyder Nate Webb.
One more update, this time the addition of "The Psycho Shooter" Drake Younger, Michael Nakazawa, and The Arsenal. Younger and Arsenal, two accomplished "death match wrestlers" are looking to prove themselves outside of the Death Matches, specificly Drake, who'd like to destroy all death matches. Michael Nakazawa just recently joined WCWA, but has already impressed with an oil fest with Beef Wellington. Four names remain.
One more update. This time, it's the only member of BLK Out that meets the weight requirements NOT in the tournament, in Allison Danger. In a weird twist, Allison is not the only woman joining the fray, as Lacey has signed the dotted line to make her in ring debut in WCWA, as part of the Menage Et Trois tournament. Lacey is apparently looking to get the approval of Jimmy Jacobs by becoming an active competitor. "Midnight Rocker" Marty Jannetty makes the last addition. Let's face it, some people have to go out in round 1.. Why not Jannetty?
The full field has been announced, as well as first round pairings!
