Total Ruthless Aggression Fight Night Tuesday Night 2006 Note:// stealing the style of DCW because I love it, it seems easy but fun to write. I hope it’ alright with you DCW. The show starts with some clips from the old ShowDown but then text of the screen changes into, that was ShowDown and this is…TRA Fight Night! Then a new techno mix with more of a beat of “This is Extreme” exclusively by Fat-Boy slim plays as a video of some of the new stars in Total Ruthless Aggression Wrestling such as Rhyno, Alex Shelley, CM Punk and AJ Styles. They show Rhyno hitting a gore sending Sabu through a table set up in the turnbuckle, then Alex Shelley hitting the Skull-F*CKA , CM Punk hitting a Pepsi Plunge onto the ROH title belt and at last AJ Styles hitting the Spiral Tap on Jeff Jarrett. Then the whole panning around the sold out crowd for this great 90 minutes of TRA before focusing on the entrance stage for the opening match for TNA Fight Night. The opening match of the night was Paul Birchall and Rhyno; the match started out with the two opponents trading fists before Rhyno got the upper hand with a hard forearm to the jaw flooring Birchall! Rhyno is burning because he is on fire beating the **** out of Birchall as he delivers stomps to Birchall’s back as he lays stomach flat to the mat. Rhyno lifts Birchall up and whips him into the ropes and hits a back body drop and then drops a hard elbow to Birchall’s throat. Birchall is choking as Rhyno lifts him up; after a few more blows then a hard spinebuster, Rhyno looks to be getting in position for the Gore but Paul reverses it into a hard spike DDT! Unbelievable counter from Paul Birchall! Now Birchall has the control trying to make Rhyno submit with a camel clutch, but it doesn’t work so Birchall just delivers some clubbing blows to the jaw before bringing Rhyno up, but only onto his knees before running into the ropes and coming back with a boot into the back of Rhyno’s head making a sick smack throughout the arena! Birchall is putting the chops to Rhyno before bringing Rhyno out of the corner he was in and lifting him up for a suplex, but Rhyno slips behind and pushes Birchall forward, Birchall turns around and the Gore! No, Birchall moves and Rhyno goes shoulder first into the turnbuckle! Birchall with the school boy and the ref counts…1…2…3! Paul Birchall picking up the win. Commercial Backstage, Joey Styles tries to get a word out of a steamed up Rhyno, but Rhyno just shoves the microphone into his chest and storms off his face red and all. The camera follows Rhyno and they find out where he’s going, to Paul Birchall’s locker room. He kicks open the door but the locker room is empty, but out of no where from behind Paul Birchall blasts him in the back of the head with a whiskey bottle and then walks away laughing at Rhyno rolls on the floor holding the back of his head. The second match of the night was a hardcore match between Chris Jericho and Sabu! This one started out crazy with Jericho hitting chop and Sabu hitting hard spinning kicks! Sabu goes for a clothesline but Jericho ducks it and comes back looking for a bulldog but Sabu pushes him off and he lands on his butt! Sabu goes for a hard kick to the back of Jericho’s head but Jericho ducks it. After those crazy counters, both men are up and so the crazy high flying action starts! Jericho with a spinning wheel kick smacking Sabu flat in his face but Sabu right back up with a hopping spin kick to the chest knocking Jericho into the corner. Sabu charging Jericho but Jericho back body drops him onto the apron, but Sabu lands on his feet so Jericho climbs to the top turnbuckle and takes him and himself out with a flying lariat to the outside! Jericho up first, and he’s interested in a chair that a fan hands him and he sets it up. Sabu gets up and he kicks him in the mid section and then goes to brainbuster but Sabu flips over him and neck-breakers him onto the chair! Sabu then takes his wrist tape off and tries to strangle out Jericho with it but he gets bored and so he looks under the apron and pulls out a barbed wire 2x4 that he must have hid under there earlier! It gets a huge pop from the crowd as he starts the tear Jericho’s skin with it, but Jericho’s low blows him and gives him a tornado DDT getting extra power off the apron. Jericho gets and sets up a table and then lays him flat on the table, and then gets on the apron and goes for the lionsault! But Sabu moves! Sabu gets a chair, goes to the apron and hits the Arabian face buster and that picks up the win! Backstage Road Dogg and X-Pac blabber on about how they have been the tag team champs on numerous occasions and how they beat the Dudley Boys in table and dumpster matches more than once before. They say that they deserve to be in that TLC match tonight but then all the sudden we hear a grunt and in comes Abyss with his chain and he scares away D-X. Abyss is also accompanied by the rest of the Xtreme Heenan Family, CM Punk, Alex Shelley and Bobby Heenan. They introduce the new Heenan family and Heenan says that this will be his best family yet, since they’re youthful and have been in some hard and big matches. CM Punk and Alex Shelley are a great technical tag team who can take it to the extreme, Abyss is a monster who can tear anyone up in his path. He finishes off saying that this is the new Xtreme Heenan family and they’ll have their first award to their name when Alex Shelley and CM Punk win that Tag team Award trophy at Fight Night’s first PPV. The camera cuts to Paul Heyman walking towards the entrance area holding some papers in his hand. Commercial

When we return from the commercial break which said that TRA Fight Night’s first PPV is in 4 weeks and that the name will be announced tonight. So back to when we return; Paul Heyman is coming to the ring to the new “This Is extreme” Techno mix with his papers and microphone. He looks like the same old Paul E he was in ECW. His announcements were: the first announcement was that next week to decide the Television champion there will be an 8 man Gauntlet match and the participates will be drawn in a lottery and in the order they’re drawn that’s the order they’ll come out in. The second announcement was that to decide the TRA heavyweight championship the main event tonight between Rob Van Dam and Double J will be deciding one competitor in the heavyweight championship match and another match next episode will decide the other competitor. And then the last announcement was that Fight Night’s first Pay-Per-View will be called Devil’s Domain; the fans go crazy as the intro theme music plays as Paul E leaves.
The match before the main event was the TLC match to decide who the last team to enter the tag team turmoil to decide who will hold the Tag team Award trophy to have their team’s name to be the first name carved into the trophy. The match started out with total mayhem as Shelley and Punk targeted Team Canada and the Impact Players targeted the Pit bulls. Lance Storm throws Kid Kash out of the ring so the Impact players can double team Jamie Noble but Noble bites Justin’s hand and then elbows Storm in the jaw, before slamming both teammates’ heads together flooring both of them! But Punk and Shelley have finished with Team Canada after bruising them with a couple of chair shots. Punk and Shelley both whip Noble into the ropes and go for a double clothesline but Noble ducks, they turn around, Kash takes Punk out with a springboard dropkick and Noble takes Shelley out with a springboard moonsault! Kash goes out of the ring and grabs a very tall ladder and brings it back into the ring and then sets it up. Kash climbs one side and Noble climbs the other side, but before they can make it to the top Petey hits a German suplex on Noble off the ladder and Devine hits a powerbomb to Kash off the other side! Johnny Devine and Petey Williams then climb the ladder but then they realize for what reason, two teams have to be eliminated first…The Pit Bulls fooled them! Storm superkicks Devine off the ladder and Credible hits an electric chair to Petey off the ladder! The first team to be eliminated is The Pit Bulls after Credible hit a super kick to Kash’s jaw knocking him out cold as Storm locks a Maple Leaf sharpshooter on Noble who eventually tapped out. Then the next team to go was Team Canada who were eliminated after Justin Credible hit that’s Incredible Spinning tombstone on Petey Williams eliminating him! The last two teams were the Impact players and The Xtreme Heenan family. They battled it out with chairs and many tables were broken until eventually CM Punk climbed the ladder and had the briefcase in his hands but the referee was down and just getting up so Justin Credible pushed the ladder over, CM Punk fell to the outside but the case didn’t so Credible got the briefcase and the ref got up and the Impact Players won, by cheating.
After the match, we went backstage where Jeff Jarrett was standing wearing his shades and his vest and also had his guitar draped over his shoulder. Jeff said that tonight, him facing Rob Van Dam was a joke. He said that he’s beaten way better people like AJ Styles and Raven and he deserves someone harder than this hippy Jean Claude Van Dam wannabe! He also said that this match would be no problem because Rob Van Dam’s brain is probably fried from all the pot he smokes. Jeff Jarrett closed his statements with saying that he’s the King of the Mountain and he isn’t falling down.

When we come back, Joey Styles is standing backstage with Rob Van Dam who is doing stretches. Joey asks RVD if Jeff Jarrett’s comments caught him off guard at all but Rob Van Dam replied with many people think I’m a druggie hippy because I have a ponytail and where a shirt with a martial arts symbol, but let’s see if Jarrett still thinks I’m a coke addict after I kick his ass to where I got this shirt and back. Jarrett says he’s wrestled better people than me, well Andy Kaufman was a better wrestler than Jarrett.
We now came to the main event which decided one competitor in the TRA heavyweight title match at TRA Devil’s Domain which is presented by TRA Fight Night! It is Jeff Jarrett first Rob Van Dam and this match heated up pretty bad tonight and these two are ready to kill each other! The match started out with a whole bunch of jockeying for power in a tight lock up which RVD took control of by a sweep kick tripping Jeff Jarrett down to his butt. RVD then dropkicks Jarrett in the chest knocking Jarrett flat on his back, RVD yells something at Jarrett probably like who’s the one laying flat on their back with a glazed look in their eyes now or something like that. RVD hits the rolling thunder on Jarrett and then lifts him and whips him into the ropes and goes for a spinning roundhouse kick but Jarrett ducks it and hits a back suplex into a bridged pin but RVD kicks out at 2! Jarrett is just dominating RVD now with knees and fists trapping RVD in the corner. Jarrett mounts the turnbuckle and delivers fist after fist to Van Dam’s face before the ref’s 5 count! Van Dam pushes Jarrett off him and then hurricaranas him shoulder first into the turnbuckle before double stomping on Jarrett’s back knocking him flat on his stomach and then giving him a Mexican surfboard stretch but Jarrett grabs the rope forcing RVD to let go. But as RVD was getting up Jarrett tripped RVD throat first into the second rope! Jarrett then lifts RVD up and goes for the Stroke but RVD reverses with a deep armdrag and then a twisting leg drop, RVD goes to the top-rope and hits the 5-star frog splash…1…2…3! RVD won, RVD celebrates! He’s going to get a shot at the TRA heavyweight title! What the Hell Jarrett just smoked RVD in the head with his guitar breaking it! That’s all the time we have folks, see you next week!
