WCWA, Dragon Gate, and Big Japan Wrestling Present When Worlds Collide 2: Open the WCWA GateKorrikean Hall in Korrikean, Japan Theme: "Set It Off" by P.O.DApril 8th 2006 WCWA World Television Title Match
Jimmy Jacobs (c) vs.
Beef WellingtonRegardless of the outcome of their upcoming No Rope Barbed Wire Death Match on Synthetic, the WCWA World Television champion will be appearing on the Japanese tour. Meaning, one way or another, the championship will be appearing as well. Furthermore, with this news, WCWA Senior Official Jason Verdoes passes down the news of the very first match for the Open the WCWA Gate PPV. For the WCWA World Television championship, one more time, Jacobs vs. Wellington. This is huge news because of how rare it is for a champion to have two title matches lined up in WCWA. Both wrestlers will also be appearing on the Revolution from Japan, against Japanese tour wrestlers. On the PPV, they will be the only WCWA vs. WCWA match. Death Match
Danny Havoc vs.
Jaki NumazawaFrom two different sides of the planet come two like minded individuals, two sick and sadistic bastards with the sole intent on destroying whoever placed in front of them, with no regard for their own well being. Big Japan Wrestling's Jaki Numazawa has proven he has no regard for his own body and the scars all over his body tell this story better than any words could. Here stateside, Danny Havoc has proven himself to be a total and complete sadist, going through three of the most brutally disgusting death matches at Dark Desires, in a losing effort to capture the King of the Deathmatches. At Open the WCWA Gate, these two men will do battle for the very first time anywhere in a death match to be announced at a later date WCWA, Dragon Gate, and Big Japan Wrestling Present When Worlds Collide 2: Open the WCWA GateKorrikean Hall in Korrikean, Japan Theme: "Set It Off" by P.O.DApril 8th 2006 WCWA World Television Title Match

"The Franchise" Shane Douglas vs.
"The Living Dead" OnryuThey say the easiest way to gain notoriety is to call out the baddest man you can find. They also say it's 2006 and word spreads viciously fast through the internet. Onryu called out Shane Douglas on a recent DDT show and within a day, the word and subsequent video made it back to The Franchise, who took time off from his Synthetic announcing duties to formerly address the Japanese star. Douglas is FAR more than a broadcast journalist, a former ECW Heavyweight champion, WWF Intercontinental champion, XPW Heavyweight champion, WCW United States champion, and WCW World Tag Team champion, Shane Douglas has seen and done it all in professional wrestling. So for Onryu, what does he really expect to accomplish by calling out the foul mouthed color commentator of Synthetic? Well, if he can defeat The Franchise, he will have defeated a sure fire future Hall of Famer. And more importantly, he will have shown that his bite is much mightier than his bark. In 2006, can the Franchise say the same? WCWA Death Match Title Match 100 Light Tubes and Barbed Wire Boards MatchTakashi Sasaki vs. WCWA Death Match Champion Brain Damage Takashi Sasaki comes into Open the WCWA Gate with a heavy reputation of being a stiff fighter with little regard for his opponents well beings. Did I just describe Brain Damage? I think so! The Hardcore Terminator shows no intimidation and more often than not, shows no pain. He can take an unreal amount of punishment and in WCWA, has proven himself the top dog in deathmatches, winning the last King of the Deathmatches tournament by besting Necro Butcher, The Messiah, and Danny Havoc in destructive fashion. For Sasaki, this match is not just a chance to win his first deathmatch championship, but also a chance to become a highly paid WCWA wrestler. Should Sasaki beat Brain Damage, he will advance on to face Eddie Kingston at Sweet Dreams, to defend his newly won championship.

WCWA Revolution #9: Big in Japan Ice Ribbon Arena Satiama, Japan April 7th 2006Not one, but TWO Japanese shows? That's the news out of WCWA Offices today, as WCWA Owner Dave Lenker, as well as senior talent coordinator "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton, senior referee Jason Verdoes, and senior in charge of back breaking and bum f ucking the old country way The Iron Sheik held a meeting in Las Vegas today. Lenker said, "It is with great honor that we announce that the Open the WCWA Gate Pay Per View supershow will not be the only show WCWA does in Japan. At the Ice Ribbon Arena in Saitama, Japan, WCWA will broadcast the weekly show on Versus, Revolution, featuring talent from WCWA, Dragon Gate, Big Japan Wrestling, as well as Japanese independent wrestlers signed on. This will be revolutionary, because it will mark the third continent to host WCWA live television events. We at WCWA are VERY excited to be able to present this show to the Japanese fans, as well as the worldwide television audience". One on One Match"Your Hero" Chris Hero vs. Isami Kodaka The rookie Isami Kodaka has possibly the biggest match of his short career on Revolution from Japan as he takes on the former WCWA World Heavyweight champion and Your Hero, Chris Hero. The King of Wrestling has a SIGNIFICANT height and weight advantage, and possibly skill advantage over Kodaka, who has gained a reputation as mostly a hardcore death match wrestler in his short career. This is the type of match that could make Isami Kodaka's career, not just in Japan with Big Japan Wrestling, but a win over Chris Hero could surely earn him a tour in America with WCWA and possibly even a contract!

Representing Big Japan Wrestling, the Ace of BJW, The Death Match Dragon Ryuji Ito will be appearing on the Open the WCWA Gate Pay Per View Ito is easily recognizable by his massive layers of scar tissue. When spotted shirtless, Ito is almost impossible to ignore, as 90% of his chest and back are covered in scars from many years of brutal barbed wire and light tube matches. Ito will be just shy of his seven year anniversary of becoming a professional wrestler as he enters Open the WCWA Gate, and has spent his entire career with Big Japan Wrestling. This will not be Ito's first WCWA appearance, as he appeared in the WCWA King of the Death Matches 2 Pay Per View, making it all the way to the finals, defeating Homeless Jimmy and Eddie Kingston before coming up short in the six way, total elimination finale, which was won by JC Bailey. It should be noted that Ito is one of the few Japanese wrestlers who comes into this show with a WCWA record, a record of 2-1-0, his only loss coming in the six way total elimination King of the Death Matches 2 finale

Representing himself as a freelance wrestler, former WCWA World Television champion The Japanese Oil Man Michael Nakazawa will be appearing on the Open the WCWA Gate Pay Per View. It is with a heavy heart that we at WCWA will be saying goodbye to Michael Nakazawa, as the Japanese born Nakazawa has opted to resign from WCWA, using this show and a one way plane ticket to Japan as his farewell. Without Nakazawa, a great translator from Japanese to English, this show very well may not have been possible. It was through Nakazawa that WCWA initially made contact with Big Japan Wrestling boss The Great Kojika and started the process for making this show a reality. Nakazawa looks to make one last bang on his way out of WCWA, and looks to do so as WCWA debuts in his native land of the rising sun, in Japan's most famous wrestling arena.

Representing Dragon Gate, a member of the Pos.Hearts stable, BxB Hulk will be appearing on the Open the WCWA Gate PPV. Just over a year in the business, BxB Hulk debuted on March 5th 2005 and instantly established himself as a star in the Dragon Gate circuits. His boylike good looks dazzle the audiences and bring the Japanese girls to the buildings in mass. A teen heart throb of sorts, BxB Hulk looks to bring his dancing theatrics and overall showmanship to WCWA, as WCWA ventures to the land of the rising sun for the first time

Representing Big Japan Wrestling, Isami Kodaka & Yuko Miyamoto will be appearing on the Open the WCWA Gate PPV Miyamoto & Kodaka are the rising young guns of Big Japan Wrestling and are well known for their fearlessness. Despite their pretty boy good looks, the two are well known for entering BJW's signature light tube matches with the death match elite like Jun Kasai and ending up shredded but the glass. The pair are quickly making a name for themselves as death match elite for their fearlessness and ability to take inane amounts of punishment, something that has been proven to be a valuable trait in WCWA, with King of the Death Match 2006 finalist Danny Havoc and former WCWA Death Match Champion and King of the Death Match 2005 winner JC Bailey

Representing Big Japan Wrestling, Big Japan Wrestling senior official Nikkan Lee will be appearing on the Open the WCWA Gate PPV. Nikkan Lee, despite being a woman of small stature, is well known for maintaining order, even in the often chaotic Big Japan Wrestling. With a firm voice and stern decision making, Nikkan Lee demands all the respect that a WCWA official does. Despite representing BJW, Nikkan Lee will be expected and presumably will be impartial to all wrestlers from Dragon Gate, Big Japan, or WCWA

Representing himself as a freelance wrestler, One Silly Clown Ebessan will be appearing on the Open the WCWA Gate PPV. Ebessan is WELL known across Japan and even America for his obscure shenanigans. Ebessan is a pioneer of the comedy style that has become a staple of WCWA in such wrestlers as Beef Wellington and even Marty Jannetty. Ebessan reached near legendary status in Osaka Pro Wrestling for his long running "feud" with Kushinbo Kamen, where the two would simply try to out-clown one another. Ebessan is known to mimic his opponents and has in the past impersonated such American known stars as Jushin Thunder Liger, The Great Muta, Cactus Jack, Bob Sapp, and more. It is with open arms that WCWA welcomes Ebessan onto our show.

Representing Big Japan Wrestling, The Danger Monkey Jun Kasai will be appearing on the Open the WCWA Gate PPV. The Danger Monkey Jun Kasai has a reputation of being absolutely nuts. Against one of his best friends in the business, The Black Angel Jaki Numazawa, Jun Kasai had a brutal and disgusting razor blade board match that must be seen to be believed. Kasai holds a WCWA record of 2 wins and 2 losses. Like Ryuji Ito, he participated in the second annual King of the Death Matches tournament, where he competed against The Messiah in a 5000 thumbtacks match, in a winning effort. Kasai, being a sick bastard, competed voluntarily in this match barefoot, which may be the trigger that set off such brutal matches as the barefoot thumbtacks and sh*t that shouldn't be stepped on death matches. Jun Kasai makes his return to WCWA with a vendetta, however, because it was the finals of the King of the Death Matches that left Kasai permanently scarred. Thanks to a series of brutal punches from The Necro Butcher, one of Kasai's front teeth and two of his back teeth were loosened and eventually fell out. Kasai has made his intentions perfectly clear. He wants the Butcher.

Representing Big Japan Wrestling, "The Death Angel" Jaki Numazawa will be appearing on the Open the WCWA Gate PPV. Ever hear the phrase it takes two to tangle? The same disgustingly brutal razor blade board match that was previously noted with Jun Kasai also featured Jaki Numazawa. The normal partner of Kasai, Numazawa is actually a student of "The Danger Monkey" and is easily identifiable by his lack of any front teeth and unique haircut. Numazawa comes into the Open the WCWA Gate PPV with the same intent as Kasai, to prove himself as the sickest bastard around. For Numazawa, he gets exactly that opportunity. On the Open the WCWA Gate PPV, Numazawa will do battle with WCWA's own Danny Havoc in what promises based on reputation alone to be an absolute bloodbath

Representing Dragon Gate, The American Wonderkid Matt Sydal will be appearing on the Open the WCWA Gate PPV The only American on the current Dragon Gate touring roster, Matt Sydal comes into Open the WCWA Gate with something to prove. He feels as though he was passed up by WCWA management when they were plucking the very best from the US indies and to an extent, he was. In St. Louis, he was trained in the exact same training class as current WCWA World Tag Team champion Delirious and prior to WCWA, they were regular rivals and allies. What Sydal's motives are for Open the WCWA Gate are still unknown at this point, but he was very persistent with Dragon Gate management for them to use him as one of their representatives for this show.

Representing Big Japan Wrestling, Madman Pondo will be appearing on the Open the WCWA Gate PPV. The only gajin, or foreigner representing BJW, Madman Pondo is no stranger to WCWA or hardcore wrestling in general. A pioneer of the American Deathmatch scene, Pondo appeared in WCWA at Wargames in a battle royal. He was set to appear in the second King of the Deathmatches tournament, but due to a prior commitment with Big Japan Wrestling, had to leave the US a day early and missed the tournament. Pondo utilizes the Stop Sign Smash as one of his key moves and should blend in nicely with the wrestlers on this tour
